Works as advertised!
Works great for what I bought it for and the tip it came with is good. Stinks like you wouldn't believe until it cures (not a knock on the product - just a heads up that if you're buying this for use in your home, you'll want to apply in a well ventilated area if possible)

Worked great!
This was easy to use. We have a clay hibachi (very similar to the big green egg grills sold now) purchased in the 1960's. It recently developed a crack and this sealed it beautifully. We have used the hibachi for cooking several times since without any problems.

QUALITY RTV SILICONE
It is what it says it is - RED RTV ! Just used it last weekend on a fireplace heat shield.. used it to stickmetal to brick and marble to brick.. and it seemed to work out great so far.STICKY STICKY RED SILICONE ! (It has great "tack")It is high quality silicone1. Homogenous2. Dries consistent3. Creamy - squirts out of caulk gun real nice and spreads real smooth in finishing process.4. Sticks well to almost anything. (very similar to automotive gasket RTV)(think of the silicone baking tray, sheets or gloves) Hence, it says it's food safe, and myhope is that it won't "off-gas" toxic fumes

Fixed my fireplace insert
Let me start of by saying that I do like this product. We were going to just buy a new insert for our wood during fireplace, but with our country the way it is good luck finding one. We decided to give this product a try.pros: sealed our fireplace up rather easily. No more smoke billowing out of the top.Cons: EXTREMELY hard to push out of the tube. I'm a woman so maybe for a man it would have been easier. It also stinks to high heaven, and for days.Overall, I would buy again if I needed to.

Good Stuff!
I used this stuff to adhere a high temp gasket to my Traeger Big Tex BBQ Door. Now I can really drive the smoke deep into my bbq meat. It sticks well and takes the heat just like described. Mmmm Good! (But don’t eat it, I meant the BBQ meat.)

Outdoor fireplace
Built a stacked stone fireplace, but the heat kept loosing the silicone I had placed on the bricks. This was especially true on the top layer, which was the most important. This stuff is not cheap, but it works great. One tube did about 18 bricks for me and I have not had them come lose since. Including people constantly putting feet on it.

Can you say hott.
Needed this for boiler room man hole cover. The cover was heavily pitted. Seems to work since I wasnt there to seal the boiler up there is no leaks so far. We use the silicone with hand hole or man hole gaskets.

High temp Silicone
Good for sealing up areas on the BBQ smoker! Also used it to put the handle back on the toaster oven ( slides over the glass door). Withstands high temps.
