Very Large Cards; Astrology Based - Look up your natal chart before getting this!
If you are totally new to astrology, this deck could be very confusing to you. It does have lots of explanations and basic beginner information, but it's a lot of info to take in for a newbie. I'm familiar with astrology and my natal chart, but in no way could I read someone else's chart and explain why things are the way they are. I found this to be perfect for where am I at.My only complaint about this deck is that the cards are very large. They are a bit cumbersome to shuffle and handle. There is so much information in this book! I've learned a lot about how to incorporate the moon into my daily practice. Lots of basic info about things like lunar deities, names of full moons, black moon lilith, essential oil correspondences, gemstones, birthstones, rituals for different moon phases, how to reenergize your crystals, the moon in your birth chart, etc.If you ever wanted to make more of a connection to the moon and have an interest in astrology, you will enjoy this oracle deck.

Beautiful boxed set/astrology based
This is a good box set for anyone who wants to pay more attention to lunar astrology and simply whip coming and contemplating the effect of lunar cycles in our lives. It comes with a nice box that neatly fits the cards and the books together. It's not a huge deck but the cards are all well made, large, and they have thought provoking statements lend towards positive contemplation and affirmation.Lunar astrology is explained as far as the moon's position in the natal chart as well as the constant cycling of the moon as it waxes and wanes and travels through the zodiac.I do really like the book but it takes time to devote to it if you really want to reach his full potential. You'll also find it helpful to have a astrological calendar or app.

Beautiful set, unfocused book
First, this is a well-printed and attractively boxed set, and the paper used is good quality. I was surprised at the size of the box these come in. These are oversized cards (about 4” x 6”).The book is a little bit odd and unfocused. Only five pages of the book are about the cards (with a brief reference to these pages in each of the two rituals included later), so the connection between the two is pretty weak. The text on the cards is the only aid to interpretation. I would have appreciated a bit of information about the thought behind the cards designs, if nothing else. As it is, they seem to be very random. The book covers a lot of metaphysical topics around the moon, but with no depth at all. Moon cycles? Two pages, with one sentence about each phase. Void-of-Course? One page. There are a few pages about recommended essential oils by moon sign, a few pages about gemstones aligned to the moon and energizing crystals by moonlight (as well as a few pages with birthstones by sun sign, which seems out of place), a few rituals for the new/full moon (with a bit about each moon sign). Most topics are handled in a single sentence or page (no page is more than half filled with text). A large portion of the book is about the astrological moon signs (you need to find your birth and the current moon signs elsewhere). About 50 pages cover the birth moon signs (again, most pages have little to no text), and 24 pages (with about 2 sentences on each) cover the signs for new/full moons. It’s a beautifully designed book. Unfortunately, there just isn’t very much to it, and the lack of cohesiveness makes the cards much less useful.
