The pillow was as advertised. Firm but not too firm. Fabric was very luxurious and cooling. Made well.Unfortunately it just didn't fit my head/neck correctly. But I would recommend trying it.

I have nerve damage in my neck and in my head and I probably had a dozen pillows and I don’t use them. I can’t lay on the back of my head so I have to lay on the side. This one holds its strength doesn’t collapse under my weight. It may be too firm for some, but it was just right for me. When I lay My head down the pillow doesn’t sink to the mattress that’s the type of firmness. So my head is laying in like inside the pillow. There’s pillow under me and cushion around my head. It’s hard to explain.

Phenomenal pillow. Comfort, bounce, softness, doesn’t warm up. Probably going to try the higher end ones from Purple. My biggest complaint is that it’s so thick. If it was 2/3 the thickness, it’d be perfect. When I sleep on my side it’s more enjoyable but I toss and turn and end up on my back often. The height causes neck discomfort after prolonged use.

I have been using a My Pillow pillow for several years. After seeing the Purple Cloud Pillow, I wanted to give it a try. There are several types of Purple Cloud Pillows, so I selected this model to try. The pillow seemed comfortable for the first several nights, then I started to get a pain in my neck. After about one week, I had to stop using it and went back to my other pillow. A few nights later, the pain in my neck went away; so, it seems that this Purple Cloud Pillow will not work for me. Disappointed that this did not work for me. A Pillow is a personal preference and some people may love the Purple Cloud Pillow; however, I cannot use it.

Had slept on a Purple mattress and was blown away by the comfort. Was hoping the pillow would be the same. I bought it for a friend with medical issues that is often abed. He reported it wasn’t very comfortable at all. I got the middle of the road firmness for him. He said it was still a bit too firm. He said it’s good to use sitting up in bed- but not lying down.

They take time to get used to!

As a side sleeper who sometimes wakes up on their back, I have a hard time finding a good pillow. No pillow is perfect and each person has their own preferences. For me the challenge is finding a pillow with loft, support, and that is soft. Most pillows I try are either too firm or my head sinks through the pillow to the mattress due to the displacement of the filling.I really like this Purple Cloud pillow. It has good loft that does not overly compress or displace while sleeping. The support is just enough to not cause neck pain, and the filling is just soft enough not to put too much pressure on my head. I would call the sleep temperature “neutral”. It is not “cooling” but with the cotton cover it is less “hot” than other foam filled pillows I have tried. In the morning you can easily fluff the pillow to regain the loft. As a plus, the pillow is fully washable.If you find most pillows either too firm or too soft you may want to give this pillow a try for the trial period.

To fluffy. Bought cause the brand. Gave it away. Never buy another purple pillow product.
