Handy Wireless Phone Battery Case
I bought this from Amazon Warehouse at a really good price so my point of view may be a little more lenient because of that.— THE CASE —I got the PRODUCT (RED) case. It comes in two pieces: a large bottom piece you slide your phone into, and a smaller top piece that attaches to the bottom piece. It is reasonably thin for a battery case. The plastic is like a soft matte material that feels nice to hold without being slippery. If you have oily hands it will show prints on the case, but, #firstworldproblems, ya know? Overall, the case feels physically sturdy and will double as good protection with an elevated lip along the top and bottom to prevent side damage during a fall.— BATTERY LIFE —This will provide up to 60% more battery on top of your iPhone 7 Plus' battery. As far as I'm concerned, the thinness of the case makes 60% a reasonable amount of extra juice to have. Anyone expecting more has to set realistic expectations.— WIRELESS CHARGING —In addition to being able to charge the case via microUSB, this also works with Qi wireless chargers. (I'm not sure why some people think a charger should be provided with this case; a case and charger are generally purchased separately.)I wasn't expecting wireless charging abilities from a battery case and the fact that it has that is icing on the cake. I love dropping my phone on my bedside table wireless charger and have it charge overnight, versus looking around for a cord to plug in. The wireless isn't as quick at charging as I would like, but the convenience of having that option more than makes up for it.— SUMMARY —Yes, you could buy a case and a portable battery for less money. You could. But this product is for those that want the convenience of having them both. I have this case, but I also have a portable battery anyway because you can never have too much backup juice—especially if you are on the go without access to an outlet. Recommended.

Works! Take note: Need to leave it charge!!!
Read a lot of reviews where people think these are dead on arrival. They’re not. As NOS, the battery has completely drained. Need to leave it on charge as there won’t be enough power after plugging it in to even activate the charging lights. Plug it in, walk away. Check it 24 hours later if need be. Try a different cord if you have to. Was about to give up on mine when the light started blinking. Works awesome!!! The 2nd one I’ve purchased to keep my old iPhone 7+ defiantly going! Impressive quality and packaging. Do not submerge in a hot tub! My first one came back after the first submersible mission, but not the second “: ^ )

Great case, charges perfectly.
3 stars only because after receiving my Mophie wireless charging pad to go with this case (supplied unfortunately by a different seller so did not arrive at the same time) it does not wirelessly charge. As the case works well other than this, I suspect the charging pad is defective, however there is a chance the case is at fault. Having emailed Mophie about this, I will update my review as events warrant.UPDATE 10/12/17: Turned out I had a defective charger. Having bought a competitor's charging pad I confirmed the case charges just fine. I subsequently bought another Mophie charging pad and it too works flawlessly and has for over a week now.

Good external battery case at a much lower price than what Morphie charges.
I have to update my previously written 5 star review about Morphie. I normally do not write negative reviews, that's not my nature. But, I felt obligated to other perspective buyers.Originally gave the case 5 stars, but I'm downgrading for a few reasons. I purchased this case and the Desk Charging dock and the Vent Mount in September, it is now mid December, 3 months. And at first everything worked perfectly. However,1- For the last month whenever I placed the Phone/case on the charging dock in order to charge it, the case would charge intermittently on and off and in order to charge the case/phone I would have to unplug the cable from the charging dock and plug it directly on the case. What's the point of having a wireless Qi charging case if you have to plug it in?2- The case would get very hot with normal use.3- I dropped my phone and the case just split apart. The phone was ok, but the case just fell apart. In the past I have purchased three cases one for me and one for each of my daughters; two desktop wireless chargers and one vent mount. But I will NOT purchase another Morphie product

Good light battery case, benefits from grip tape
Overall, this is a good case. I like how it adds a decent amount of battery life without adding a lot of weight or bulk. It does seem reasonably protective, though not especially so. But, I don't find that I get a good grip on it.I fixed the issue by following another reviewer's advice and put some gun grip material on it - Talon Grips sells a sheet that will easily wrap the case. I cut a little off to keep the lower button clear on the bottom, cut out spaces for the side buttons and cut it to fit. It even charges from and sticks to the Mophie docks just fine with the tape. You can probably use any (thin) flexible rubber grip material, but this worked very well for me. It looks like it belongs there and vastly improves the feel and handling of the case.EDIT: The tape WILL interfere very slightly with Qi charging if it covers the back. I switched to "Gear Gripz Non-slip Grip Tape - Honeycomb Pattern" and carefully applied two rows of the honeycomb decals - one along each edge, which ends up just stretching from the side, almost to the back (just short of where the Mophie charging docks touch the case.) This actually gives me slightly more grip - the honeycomb pattern's gaps, counter-intuitively, improve traction - and also seems to slightly improve charging alignment. It's also very, very slightly lighter than using a full sheet of grip tape, and since there's no cutting it's a bit quicker to install. And you can stick individual pieces at the corners, along the bottom, etc. wherever you might need more grip. The issue I had was that the phone would occasionally show that it had disconnected and reconnected while Qi charging. This still happens on occasion without the tape on the back, but noticably less so.
