Whilst lacking in flavour - they don't have that deep, rich, unctuous quality of proper maraschino cherries - they're a key ingredient for the Yukiguni cocktail, where it's more about the aesthetic than taste. The sugar syrup has a mild almond flavour, but the cherries themselves don't taste like much at all. So visually, bang on, taste-wise, don't expect much.

These are terrible green cherries. What cherries are green in the first place?! Description says burgundy red however they are not. Radioactive green colour. Non returnable too! Avoid!
