CASTLE CREATIONS Motor, 4-Pole SENSORED BRUSHLESS 1717-1650kV, Green

Thank you Castle Creations for creating a well built motor! Bought a team Corally Shogun two years ago and was happy with it until I wanted more from it. Started researching motors to upgrade with and came across Castle while researching Hobby wing motors. Needless to say, I wound up going with the 1717-1650kv and mamba monster x esc. Woke my Shogun right up. So much power with no lag in the sensored setup. Only running a 16t pinion gear, but this thing boots! Running a twin turbo fan to keep things cool. Now if I could just find a good space to run this thing full throttle, I’d be very happy!

Installed this in my Arrma Limitless V2 build and it's working perfectly. It's a good fit and runs like a cheetah now. Can is beefy but no issue with the V2, paired with my XLX2 ESC my car has never been faster. Able to handle hard loads and amp spikes, doesn't break under hard use.

I just purchased this motor. Something loose inside , is this normal? . It wasn’t in plastic the box had tears in it.

Put it in a modified HPI Savage with a center diff along with a Mamba Monster X 8s esc and its great. Might need to add a motor fan due to my gearing if I ever run 8s but it goes around 55 on 4s and I can't find somewhere big enough to wind it out on 6s.
