Worth every penny! Purchased ours two years ago (in black, with handles). Definitely felt a little guilty at the time spending so much on a trashcan. However, our built-in kitchen recycling drawer was way too small. I wanted something decent-looking but durable, compact yet really large.Chose this one over other brands because it looked particularly sturdy and Suncast seems to make high quality products that last. I also was impressed by the attention to detail: tall and slim but not tippy, choice of with or without handles, visually appealing yet unobtrusive detailing on the sides, and the clever indent for your foot and inside “channels” to assist emptying.We are a family of four and this holds all our weekly cans, bottles and small cardboard recycling. We rarely have to empty it more than once per week. We don’t bother with a plastic liner because it seems like a waste of plastic. We periodically hose it out instead. In our last house it fit perfectly between the pantry cabinets and a doorway. We have since moved to a house with an older kitchen. I removed an ancient trash compactor that was next to the sink and discovered this trash can slides perfectly into the space, so it now tucks away conveniently under the countertop. Fantastic!

We have a tiny food truck and needed a commercial rated trash can that was slim to fit between equipment. This was exactly what we needed. It’s great quality and we have used it a year and it looks like new.

I am a dog rescue and bought these to store our 35 pound sacks of food. They each hold two bags and I can rotate them easily with the dolly sold by suncast and move them to the house. They are a perfect height to slide the food from my SUV tailgate and I am no longer hurting my back to feed my crew.

This is a great can for keeping recyclables separate. The slim design is great for tight spaces and the details outlined in the video are helpful bonuses. Mine arrived slightly damaged but It was clear this happened during shipping. I contacted Amazon through the online chat option and they offered to send a new one free of charge but I declined because the damage DID NOT AFFECT THE FUNCTIONALITY of the can and I do not like to take advantage when the issue is so minor. Everyone gets kudos for offering and handling the notice with such professionalism.The can is exactly what I wanted and works great.Thank you!

These cans are slightly different than the grey Rubbermaid slimjim cans. They are holding up well and are easy to clean since they black they don’t show grim as bad and all I have to do it spray them off.

I was looking for a trash can that takes less space, but still holds a good amount of trash. This checks off both requirements. I use 33 gallon bags that fit perfectly. The bags pull up easily and I don't have to wrestle with bag out of the trash can. Sometimes it's the little things that make my day. 🙂

This is a great can. love the slim design and how much garbage it can actually hold.only complaint is that its hard to find the right garbage bag and to get the bag to hold nicely to the can. Wish they wouldve made a hold for the excess bag to hold into

bought these to help with our overflowing recycling bin provided by our city (which is tiny); wanted something tall and narrow to fit in a 'garbage closet' at our home; bought 2 (a blue and a black one) as we have to sort our recycling. they hold a good amount and because of the build in handles, are easy to pull and carry out. recommend.
