Works good if you get a Good One, Documentation and Pics are Confusing
The first kit (pair of 2) I got was bad. One unit was getting very hot, the other wasn't, and wasn't linking fiber and ethernet wasn't working. Second kit worked great. It's a bit confusing which model of this kit you got. Fortunately I went for Dual SC and managed to get the correct Dual SC (crossing over TX/RX) cable from another seller. The pictures on Amazon are confusing because they don't match actual units - in particular what does TX light mean? My unit is labeled TX - 100 and doesn't light. Pic online says TX lite means 1000. My ethernet switch detects the Ethernet at 1000 so I'm good. I original got 15 feet of fiber dual patch cable, but discovered I really need 30 feet. So ordered another cable 30 feet. I'm just going between 2 rooms and needing to get under a very low hung door (was smashing CAT5 cable.) [First seller didn't have longer than 15 feet patch cable.]

Me parecio buen producto. Ya que a pesar de que sale mas costoso que cablear con cable UPT categoría 6 para llevar el internet de un punto a otro con una velocidad de 1GBs/s, es mucho mas facil cablear con fibra optica ya sea por canaleta o por los ductos de energia.

You get what you pay for.
Overall cheap fiber media converters made in China. They tend to loose fiber synchronization at least once a week and performance drops considerable from around 930gbs to almost 10mbs. Only way to solve issue is to power recycle one of the units. Instruction manual shows dip switches to adjust settings but there a no dip switches in the unit. Behavior only present in these units as other more advanced units work perfectly using same fiber cable and same patch cable. As the headline says, you get what you pay for.Update 9/9/2021: Slowdown behavior keeps getting worse, now occurring several times a day.

Amazing converters, broken one string of the fiber, using only one to Transmit and Receive, for more than 1k fiber cables.

Just plugged them in to my 1/3 mile fiber cable and they worked. And they are cheap.

The lights flash, no info is transferred.
Great price point for the pair. They are hooked up to our modem, transmitting across a fiber pair, and received at the other end and connected to a router. The router is not getting internet.
