Garnier SkinActive Gel Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid, 1.7 Ounce

Let me just start off by saying that I have extremely dry skin. I have tried moisturizer after moisturizer and nothing has worked. When I wear makeup it becomes very flaky in my tzone and cheeks and I end up washing it off feeling humiliated. Nothing has worked! I saw this moisture bomb on a youtube video as a highly recommended for dry skin. When I finally decided to look it up I was startled at how much it costs. Yes, its less than anything on Sephora but $15 a bottle?! Well, I decided to try it. I was HORRIFIED at how small the bottle is. ITS TINY! But, I figured I would give it a shot. I have had this now for a while and there is still over 3/4 left. A little bit goes a long way. My skin has NEVER been this soft before. At first it burned in the really dry places, not bad and it went away after a few seconds. But those dry spots have practically disappeared. My face and neck feel silky like they NEVER have before. This product might be tiny and expensive but it is soooo worth it!!! If you suffer from dry skin, I really suggest you try this! It gives my skin a healthy glow and has actually even helped with some of my acne breakouts (I know its not advertised for that, but it has helped with acne and skin tone and coloring as well as the dryness. This stuff is seriously Magic!). When I run out, which isn't going to be any time soon, I will absolutely buy more! (Also for those of you who wear makeup, it does work under makeup as well. I still suggest a primer and a moisture foundation but it does help!) And as if all this wasn't enough, IT WORKS ON GUYS TOO! My best friend has dry skin too and we've used this on him and it worked wonders! LOVE THIS MOISTURE BOMB!

This makes my skin soft and not too oily which I like since regular face lotions make me greasy feeling. I'm still trying to figure out if it will break me out or not thoughUodate (1/9/2020): I'm really liking this moisturizer! It just makes my skin so soft without making me super greasy, smells good too. It gives off a warm/kinda stinging feeling when first applying but it goes away quickly every time, still makes my skin nice and soft afterward. I've been using it together with Differen gel, St. Ives blackhead clearing scrub, and Neutrogena ultra gentle daily foaming cleanser (wash my face with the Neutrogena soap every morning in shower and then apply differen gel and let that dry and then apply the Garnier moisturizer. At night before bed I remove my makeup and then apply Garnier moisturizer again (I use the st. Ives scrub every other night after removing makeup and then apply Garnier moisturizer)); my skin is very soft and a lot smoother than it used to be! My complexion overall has been improving and I don't breakout much. I'm not too worried about aging lines as I'm only in my 20s but I've even noticed this moisturizer has helped the lines on my forehead look not as noticable! Overall I really do like this stuff and the other products I mentioned are great too!

Oh wow do I love this!! I bought it originally to put on at night while I used the green gel during the day, but after the first use, I loved it so much that I wear it all day and all night! My face had been very dry lately, and I previously had to rehydrate in the afternoon (which I did not like to do because it messed with my concealer), but since I started using the moisture bomb, I haven't needed to reapply once, all day!I also immediately noticed a difference in my skin-- it looks so much softer and brighter now. I never understood how a face could look brighter, but wow!I also think it smells fantastic, but it is very strong. Someone who does not like perfumed lotions would not enjoy this, at least for the first few minutes. I love the smell of all of Garnier's products, and this is similarly scented.I am in my mid-20s, and I am losing the "shine" of my college years -- my skin is more porous, u need to apply eye lotion, my adult acne has started up... I have been using this lotion for two weeks (maybe less that that?), and I can already see a huge change. My skin looks fresher and my acne is actually calming down and smoothing out. While I am using more targeted acne treatment, that had lead to the flaky skin that prompted this purchase; I saw significant improvements after I started using this. Other people even noticed!I cannot recommend this highly enough! I just love it so much!

I prefer the Garnier SkinActive Moisture Rescue. This one is a bit more like a lotion (still better than lotion, but with a bit more residual lotion-y feel). Time will tell though, I haven't been using it for long, but it does the job, my skin feels soft and moisturized. I still recommend it over any lotion I've ever used if you have oily skin, as it doesn't feel greasy or make you oily. I think it's competing, though, with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid (same packaging), and I preferred the Neutrogena product.

This gel moisturizer is awesome! I originally got a tiny amount in a sampler box as a Christmas present. I fell in love with the weightless texture and how the moisturizer just melts into your face and leaves a clean feeling. I’m one that hates the feeling of a greasy face and this doesn’t leave you feeling greasy at all! I have dry, acne prone skin and I felt this fixed my dryness without over exaggerating my acne! It also has a very pleasant clean scent that doesn’t linger. I found some face lotions have an awful scent and that the smell lingers. This moisturizer also reminds me of a gel moisturizer that I got from bath and body works but this is much cheaper and works better!
