Needed a good quality min 100w usb-c to usb-c 2m brand cable to use with my new UGREEN Nexode 130w Power Bank and UGREEN Nexode GaN 100w fast charger. It seemed logical to stick with a UGREEN but that certainly wasn’t a given. But after comparing alternatives on Amazon this ended up being a no-brainer considering the good specs, great build quality and price drop sweetener to £7.99 (from £10.99) for 2m of quality braided cable. Data transfer is still the same as a standard 60w usb-c cable here at 480mb/s (not what I was interested in anyway) but the next step up are the 100w variations before the real high end 240w monsters. I did not need that kind of power spec as those are way higher than anything I (and most others) can charge and as a negative the cables get stiffer and the connection ends get larger (for the circuitry chips) and jump up in price significantly.A little bonus for me is that the brand aesthetics of black + metallic grey trims are exactly as the other UGREEN gear.A slight disappointment was that there was no single 90deg variation in their 100w cables range at time of ordering. Something that is always rather useful to minimise any potential port strain/damage if you intend to ‘use as you charge’ a device. It would have been a nice-to-have but this was not a deal breaker for me. UGREEN only had a lesser spec’ed 60w single 90deg head if I really needed that. Something I may indeed get to add to my cable repertoire for when those situations arise (always good to have a selection0So in summary, just be aware that it is quite a bit stiffer/less flexible than a rubber sheathed variations but its a great cable, great price, just buy one.

This build quality of this cable is excellent, and it can be safely used with Apple products.Excellent value for money, and highly recommended after many hours of use.

90 degree are more fitting with steam deck and other similar devices. In comparison with this cable 90 degrees which I tested makes less issues with chargers where is not to many space and I don't want to damage usb c socket or plug.

a well made cable and a good price for it too

I bought this cable to replace the cable that came with my Apple MacBook air that had frayed .I absolutely love this cable you can feel it’s well made nice and thick so it’s going to be able to stand up to the harshness of travelling around , and should be able to take a few accidental tugs all without problems .The ends where the cable meets the connections are reinforced with protective rubber so no more loose connections or wearing out .The cable just oozes quality at a fantastic price . This isn’t the first U green cable I’ve bought ,I have may of the their Ethernet cables which are all extremely well built and U Green are fast becoming my favourite cable brand because of these reasons .

Some people complain that data transfer is slow, but the description clearly states that data transfer is USB 2.0. What do you expect? Can't you people read?Anyways, this is a charging cable first and it does the job. I have 2m version and it is long enough for me. Charges my laptop and phone at full speeds, no complains there.

This charging cable was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to take advantage of a 100w charger I had so I decided to go with this cable as it looked both sturdy, met the power delivery requirements, long cable length and was very well priced. The cable has been used on many devices working perfectly on all and has had no noticable wear or tear in the past months. Recommended to anyone looking for a reliable sturdy cable.
