I bought 2 of these to store outside on their side to scoop bird feed from. They’re much more robust than the ones they replaced which mice had started nibbling through. Good quality, I’m pleased with them.

Bought these after a friend recommended them. Pleased I did. The tub itself is easily dented so be careful but the lid is a good fit and closes up securely. Comes with a handy little scoop too

I ordered this based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews to store dry cat food. Item arrived quickly. It was immediately decided this just isn’t what we were after. It’s advertised as having a seal, but the actual fit of the lid was so poor that the seal serves little purpose. I would imagine for some this is a good item, just not for us. Any dry food would go stale.

Arrived loose in a box. Appears to have been used and returned, as there is visible dirt in the interior and on the lid.

This is marketed as a “Store-Fresh” food box, and having a foam seal to prevent moisture and pests getting in. Well it does have a foam seal on its ‘lid within the lid’ that looks like it would do a decent job... BUT the lid itself has no foam seal and is *really* loose fitting. I actually called the company to ask in case my lids were defective or missing a foam fitting, and they said no, it was indeed like that. I asked how it was meant to keep anything fresh, and they told me (very nicely) that it’s not meant to be air tight, and that most dry dog food will keep pretty well for ages. That might be true, but I pointed out that they are heavily marketing the “freshness” aspect, and how it keeps out moisture - when I couldn’t see how that could be right. Whilst I feel you shouldn’t need to, if you silicon gun on the lid to the base, then you can still fill and use the container via the inner lid, and you’d actually get a decent seal. Should it come with a decent seal on the lid? Of course it should. Or they shouldn’t market it as keeping the food fresh and keeping moisture out. One of those traditional metal dog food tins would (arguably look nicer and) and do a better job in that department.
