Well made. The magnets are strong but still allow the arms to be moved. The light is bright and the magnifier is clear and powerful

I've not had chance to use it for soldering yet, but after putting it together, I'm really impressed with the build quality. Though I did find a couple of the screws didn't seem to fit properly, but there were spares. There is quite a hefty weight to this and the magnets see really strong. I can't wait to use this 😁👍 (I'll update this review in due course 🙂)

A bit different approach to most others on the market but it's much better in my opinion. It holds the PCB in place nicely. Its made of steel and aluminium (loving it). It has springs which help with mounting and dismounting the PCB but still hold it tightly during the soldering. Like the fact PCB is a decent distance off the table while soldering.

I really love this product (and have now purchased it twice for two different places). I think the base size is just right for small projects, and is incredibly sturdy (and also somewhat weighty). The crocodile clips are strong and have not failed despite quite a bit of use and best of all the magnetic components are strong enough to be confident in their positioning. I haven't tried cheaper variants of this product, although I have used more old fashioned helping hands, and this is a huge step up. Whether cheaper variants provide a similar experience I can't say, but for sure I consider these good value for money. I don't tend to use the lighting system but when I have used it it has been good, although I dislike soldering through a magnifying glass. The dual sizes of the 'hands' is also really helpful. All told, an excellent product with really good functionality.

The quality of this product is well worth the money.

The helping hand posts are great, they stay in place and can hold mother boards without sagging over time. The base place is etremely thick and heavy and was better than I expected. The magnets are strong, and I am happy with my purchase overall. There are some minor complains that I think other customers should be aware of: 1: 2 out of the 6 provided allegator clips did not come with a tapped inserts making them not usable. 2: The LED cord for the light is not properly secured. This is not a big deal for me personally. After reading a couple other reviews where others had issues with the LED, this is nice for me personally because changing them out in the future would be easier and optional. 3: The finish on the metal plate is a bit questionable. There's a couple of spots on the label side of the plates that can be described as cosmetic defects. I am a bit concerned on how it will hold up over time, or how well it will handle heat.

Hilfreicher Helfer beim Löten und Kleinstarbeiten. Stabiler Stand und praktische uneingeschränkte Verstellbarkeiten der Klemmen. Lupe vergrößert gut und Licht ist ausreichend Hell. Auch kleinste Schräubchen werden erkennbar groß.

I had read many bad reviews for this, including that the magnets aren’t strong enough. I ran into the same problem with the magnets as most others, but solved it by using an intermediate magnet between this device and the metal plate that I work on. This holds the circuit board at the perfect working height once you learn how to tighten the wing nuts correctly.
