Jolie Finishing Wax - Chalk Finish Paint Wax - Use on wood or matte finish painted interior furniture, cabinets- Odor-Free, Non-Hazardous (500mL, Black)

I use it for my Bed set, cabinet and Table set too. It is very white so went on my white finish beautifully and easy to apply, wax works perfectly.

What I liked was the ease and finish for refreshing my cabinets. I applied two coats 24 hours apart and then wiped them down to give it a shine. I wanted to maintain the wood grain while minimizing orange that was showing through. I have light colored cabinets so the white wax works perfectly.

I like the ease of application. I have been doing chalk painting for several years now and have used both finishing waxes and liquid sealers. In some cases the liquid sealer is the way to go... but in others wax is the best. Jolie makes an excellent wax finish coat and for pieces that have a lot of small areas sometimes wax is the way to go. Liquid sealers can drip and run. My current project involved a lot of tight spots and liquid would not do. I recommend Jolie if you prefer a wax finish.

I like this wax for my projects but it is a little expensive.

Most importantly my wife found the Jolie Finishing Wax to be easy to apply and worked well to protect the finish she had added to an old vanity - 2 older vanities. She was pleased. Now to buff them up. :)

This was my first time attempting to antique a wood frame.I read up on it, watched countless youtube videos and bought this, a couple of brushes and a tub of Amy Howard Dark Antique wax.At the time of my order, the Jolie brand of black wax was out of stock so that's the reason I purchased the dark wax in the Amy Howard brand.It was stupidly easy to transform a beautifully shaped faux wood mirror frame to something that looks like a true antique.

I like it!! It is very white so went on my white finish beautifully. I applied it with a large brush and then rubbed it with a lint free cloth to take away the access. It was very easy to use. It is just the right amount of softness. It gave my chalk paint a smooth velvet finish with a great seal. I would purchase again
