I gave 5 stars because they work well. The fit was perfect and the grip is good for weights. What is the worst part of these gloves is how bad they smelled when they arrived. I had to air out almost a week before using at the gym and kept them in a ziplock bag away from other items in my gym bag for a long time.

I kept these gloves as backups to my Trideer gloves, which are the best replacement for the old style Harbinger gloves that I have been able to find on the market today. These gloves are very comfortable, fit nicely on the hands, and come off very well, but don't have as much padding as the Trideer gloves, so they don't offer the same degree of protection as the Trideers, I think because they were made as multi-purpose gloves for weight lifting and cycling. The packaging even describes them as "sport gloves," not weight lifting gloves, but they work surprisingly effectively for workouts in the gym. I am not a big fan of the stretch material on the wrist wraps, and prefer something more stable. Having said that, they definitely do the job and feel great, so again, I kept these as backups to my Trideer gloves. You certainly can't beat them for the price, which is comparable to the Trideers and about half what the old Harbingers and other current high end weight lifting gloves cost.

I've bought about 5 pair of these gloves over the last 12 years, They usually last about 1.5 - 2 years of 5 days/week lifting before they start to separate a little around the thumb. I prefer these gloves since they have the wrist wrap.

Best gloves i've had so far. Had them for about 4 years now and they still work fine. Im now coming back for a full hand pair so i can finally wash these. 😅

This is my second pair. Great for workouts. Good padding in the palms. The wrist wrap can be adjusted for tightness- a big plus. Wears well and protects your hands well.
