I want to give an assessment of this product, but also compare the Keystone to the Codesteel. As advertised, this product is very well made and does the job. The product is easy to use and the letters are easy to read. For the price of $50 , it is a bargain compared to the original product that inspired this, the CryptoSteel (not to be confused with the Codesteel) - the CryptoSteel being $180 is just another level.. and NOT worth it when Keystone and Codesteel exist for a fraction of the price and almost identical functionality. What I like about the Keystone over the Codesteel: 1. the letters on the Keystone are slightly BIGGER. 2. the 4 letters fit tighter than the Codesteel... this is a big deal for me. Codesteel has 2mm wiggle room that makes me nervous a letter might fly out given how thin they are. 3. the screw driver on Keystone has bigger handle, easier to use. What I like about the Codesteel over the Keystone: 1. It does not have LOGOS over the product.. it is plain and cleaner looking. 2. It is substantially cheaper than Keystone at $35 vs $50 when they are basically identical. The Codesteel's "wiggle room" of the letters makes me nervous... but its enough for me to choose Keystone.

First time using a seed phrase storage device and this does the job well. Self explanatory to use but instructions provided. Good solid material, all the letters stay in well, feel better now my seed phrase is off paper and in a secure device. Recommend if you're looking for a good seed phrase storage device.

I'll open up by saying, absolutely DO splurge extra money for the PLUS version. It's feels more durable than the standard version, and has large number of screws safely securing letters in place within thick steel plates. The standard version should be avoided. It's flimsier and cover plates are poorly attached, which could lead to letters shifting and falling out, resulting in catastrophic failure of the seed backup. The Plus version is very solid, clean and easy to use. I feel confident it will withstand majority of typical natural disasters. Security stickers and lock option are just an icing on the cake. Comparing to other options on the market, the price for the value is very solid. Keep in mind, while this should work well, under extreme force, the screws could potentially give out, resulting in letters dislodging from their nests. That is the ultimate weakness of this sort of backup method. If that is a concern to you, consider options with stamping/etching as they are even most resistant to damage.

It’s straight forward, metal plates, good quality, hopfully ill never have to see if they survive a fire. Metal lunch that comes with it works fine all be it low quality. I purchased a nemco for less than $10 but the one that’s included works just fine.

Product arrived quickly and had all the features that were advertised. Packaging design needs help though- the screwdriver was loose and free to bang around and scratch up the front of the product; the foam insert in the packaging doesn't prevent this because it is too small both in height and in cross-section area...it's just glued to the inside lid of the box and doesn't touch or protect anything. It was an intentional design choice to leave the screw driver loose because it doesn't have a slot in the interior packaging to fit into (same in both units I ordered). The back of the product did not have these same scratches which makes me suspect the screwdriver even more. The inside of the product also has several scratches in the metal (see pictures). Some will be covered up by letters while some will not. Some scratches appear to be from someone opening and closing the unit at the factory (they were there from when I first gently opened it). But other scratches look like someone was just careless with their tools when fabricating the product. Perhaps use tools made of a metal softer than 304 Stainless so it won't scratch by accident. For the price I'd expect better quality control. It will get the job done, but given a choice I'd prefer a product that looked as sleek as the Amazon listing photos, not beat up units that look like a small dog with metal teeth chewed and clawed on them. 1 star for delivery speed + 1 star for able to do its intended function + 1 star for all parts being included + 1 star for good price - 1 star for the scratched up metal = 4

Der Artikel wirkt qualitativ hochwertig. Buchstaben sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Buchstaben lösen sich mühelos aus der Halteplatte und passen perfekt in die dafür vorgesehenen Mulden. Meiner Meinung nach eine klare Empfehlung!

Ho acquistato il Keystone Tablet Punch per proteggere le seed phrases, e non potrei essere più soddisfatto della scelta fatta. Realizzato in acciaio di grado 304, questo dispositivo offre una resistenza meccanica non indifferente, rendendolo praticamente indistruttibile. La sua capacità di resistere a temperature elevate, ben oltre quelle di un incendio domestico (testato con un cannello ossidrico), è un ulteriore vantaggio che mi ispira sicurezza riguardo alla conservazione del mio seed. Il design è semplice ma ben studiato: le tre piastre consentono di organizzare le prime 4 lettere di ogni parola in modo chiaro e sistematico, e la possibilità di chiudere il tutto con un set di 3 lucchetti di dimensioni differenti (anche se non inclusi) è un plus non trascurabile. Il materiale di cui è fatto, inoltre, resiste tranquillamente alla corrosione causata da acqua o altri liquidi. Infine, la facilità di utilizzo è notevole. Le istruzioni sono chiare e coincise, ma serve dedicare un po' di tempo e attenzione al corretto punzonamento delle parole. Inutile dire che, in caso di errore, non si riesce a cancellare tutto e ricominciare da capo.
