Dupli-Color HVP103 Silver High Performance Vinyl and Fabric Spray - 11 oz.

Bought this to color some white clothes silver for my tin man Halloween costume. One can covered a pair of pants, an Oxford shirt, and a pair of shoes, but I ended up getting another to get a more vibrant silver. Overall would recommend, but the color takes better on vinyl/faux leather than cotton fabric. You may want to do a couple coats for the latter.

Needed to paint part of a mask/prop that's a flexible PVC. After some research I was led to this paint, and it does the job fantastically. Dries very quickly, and stays flexible after. For photos, green is before and silver is after sanding, acetone, and then 2 light coats of this paint in silver.

This is awesome paint! Awesome bright silver over a white undercoat. I will say the quality may vary between cans as some cans spray thinner and thicker and there's no telling what you'll get. I bought several cans because the silver is difficult to find. Not sure if I needed adhesion promoter for my plastic plane, but I used it anyway on the pictures you see. I tried different cans of spray silver and most would come off on my fingers even after drying. Good spray, many coats still shows details. The Duplicolor silver dries fast, re-coats in 10ish minutes and is fingernail scratch resistant. It did pull up on one blue tape masking once, switched to Frogtape and had no issues. Bottom line- couldn't have done the job without it. Worth every many a penny.

Parfait

My husband and I were both impressed with the transformation. Black fabric on this used, Star War Costume appeared around the joints, --elbow, knee and neck regions. After reading all the user reviews and recommendations, the Dupli-Color nozzle was activated and did the magic. I regret my picture qualuity is poor; unfortunately, it is all I had available at time of posting. The painted fabric remained supple with the black fabric accepting the silver spray dye well. The end result was a costume that was cost effective and a winner in the child's eyes.
