I did measure my son before ordering, and went by the guide sizes. He likes to play it throughout the year so I ordered a size he could grow into. It fits well and he looks so super cute in it. He is excited to finally get to wear it when halloween gets here

My son loves this costume. He loves cat in the hat and wanted this costume so bad he put it in my Amazon cart himself from his tablet. The only thing he wishes it had was a better bow tie and gloves. So I would get extra gloves and a tail but the upset is soft and a fleece like material. It’s think but warm
