Wahl Professional Animal 30 Fine Ultimate Competition Series Detachable Blade with 1/32-Inch Cut Length (2355-500)

Love my Wahl clippers and wanted another blade for my grooming tasks. These are great blades and the quality is superior. It arrived quickly and in mint condition.

Bought this to replace #10 blade I had been using…as the pros said this was the way to go for Portuguese Water Dog coats. Great advice. Cuts SO much better. Happy dog! Works great in my Andis Ultra Edge clippers.

I’ve been using my 10 blade forever until one of my coworkers noticed me constantly back brushing and told me to get a 30 blade. I tried theirs and it worked great, so I ordered it. After I got it I immediately applied clipper oil, but for some reason it wouldn’t cut the fur. I thought it might be the comb I was using (an O comb on 2 inch fur), so I took it off and tried paw pads but still nothing. The blades looked perfectly fine, but they just didn’t cut.

No issues or concerns

Just received my order and wondering if I receive brand new blade, notice there is oil residue inside the package and all over the blade. Anyone receive the same condition?Edit:After a month of using it, somehow it’s very dull and not cut right underneath guard combs. Too bad my return window is over and I have to stuck with it. I will not buy blade from Amazon again and should listen to other reviews before purchase.

I have the most adorable fuzzy bunny who is now getting very old and can't take care of himself. He had the worst case of dinglberrys and matting that I have ever seen. Bunny's skin is very fragile and scissors risk cutting the skin. Regular people clippers just stop on the fuzz. I bought a professional pet clipper for over $100 with a standard no. 10 blade that very slowly cut through with a very unhappy rabbit kicking and squirming the whole time.and I couldn't get the job finished. This blade made short work of the mats and mess. No harm to the skin and the matting and mess gone. I now have a much happier and better smelling old bunny who should live a while longer in better condition

As a professional groomer, I use this blade under all comb attachment haircuts. I’ve used Andis and Buttercuts before and I’ve always had a problem with them chipping, sometimes even basically brand new out the package. The Wahl competition series I’ve used for months with no issues, even with preshaving before bathing. Saves me so much money and frustration. I’ll always been getting this 30 blade in the future.
