The basic recipe for potato and cheese pierogi was not included. The most wanted recipe. Wasted my money. I could Google these recipes.

I love pierogies and bought this book for new ideas. The book has many varieties of pierogi fillings and I am working through the recipes. One thing I did find is that some directions are incomplete- they list ingredients that do not show up in the directions. You have to guess when and how to add them to the recipe.

Received this book in a timely fashion. It was just as described. Very pleased and satisfied.

This is an informative book of pierogi recipes. However, I wouldn’t have bought it had I known the ingredients are listed in grams only.

The recipes in this book are great, I tried a few of them so far and really enjoyed them.. Easy to make.

secrets about polish cooking I have always wanted to know

I chose this rating cause i liked the different recipes and especially the desserts pierogies wide variety of recipes with different ingredients. I'm not Polish but the food from that particular country especially the pierogies have always interested me I've made the pierogies half rounds and full circles. Mostly I've only made potato and onion and cheese pierogies boiled them until they floated then sauteed them in butter with carmelized onions really good that way, I recommend doing that way at least once.

Black & white pages with zero pictures (other than the front cover). Ingredients are in U.S. cups (not metric) which is good for me. Has lots of good recipes! Excited to try a few.

Pierogi are a favourite dish in my family, all three generations! So I was thrilled to find this little book to add to both sons' Christmas presents. There is the all time favourite with potato & cheese filling as well as many other, some of which I had not come across before. I hope they will enjoy a voyage of discovery.

Great book for someone who wants to learn how to cook pierogi.Recipes easy to follow, and interesting.I would recommend it to somebody who would like to surprise their polish friend/ partner or date :-)
