ION Pathfinder 280 All-Weather Speaker with Premium Wide-Angle Sound (Renewed)

Bought this for $150 + tax. Definitely worth it. Very loud, bass is loud. Bluetooth connects right away. Great in size for my use. We use in the back of our RZR for the dezzert and it’s on while we ride. It’s loud enough we can still hear it through our helmets and the engine noise. Very durable as it’s always in movement and hold down with a ratchet tie down. Battery does last long time. Definitely recommend it!

First time buying refurbished from Amazon. Arrived in original packaging and looks like a brand new unit. Only issue I have is the rubber pieces that protect the power plug and usb/line plugs don’t stay sealed if I’m moving it around a lot. I don’t know if a new unit would be any different. Sound quality is pretty good and the bass bumps. I bought this as a work radio and have had it about a month now. It’s still going on it’s first charge. The battery life is amazing! I use this at work and as my work van radio. My van only has am/fm so I keep this between the seats and use Bluetooth. I will likely get a 2nd one to pair with this one for more sound when partying in my yard, but it’s not necessary. Plenty of volume with a single unit.

I have to issue this unit 1 star as the battery life was it's main purpose I bought it. I bought this item to pair with a nearly 3 year old unit that I purchased new from Costco. Fresh out of the packaging it is scratched way worse than the 3 year old unit. The battery is also severely damaged. Charged both speakers for their first use together. Unplugged them got them paired and tested for 5-10 minutes. The following day, the new refurbished speaker was down 2 battery bars and the 3 year old speaker was completely full. Okay maybe it wasn't charged all the way. Finished the hour long fireworks show with the old one over half and the new one with 1 bar of battery left. Charged them both up for a few days and went to use them again the following weekend for a projector movie night. Once again within 20 mins the new speaker was down 2 bars while the 3 year old one was still full. At the end of the movie the old one was barely down half and the new one was getting ready to die. The old speaker has had extensive use and been through many torrential downpours and the only damage is light scratching and the rubber cover for the charge port has fallen off. I host weekly projector movie nights around the campground and do the music for many events, dances, shows, poker runs, golf cart parades etc. The battery life of the unit is essential to its use. Overall not satisfied as the speaker is barely useful for Mobil events. I already have dj speakers I use when I have access to power. Seeing as the price was about the same as the brand new from Costco when I bought it I'm very disappointed.

Purchased a few of these ion radios. All from Amazon refurbished. I purchased 2 of the pathfinder 280s to link in my backyard for cookouts. Very loud very nice radio. Very long battery life. Make sure to test all the stations and Bluetooth and the battery charging as soon as you open. If those all work the radio is worth it. I will say to avoid the GameDay party. Thing is not worth the money. Got two of those have good battery life sound quality and volume suck. Mk-3 sport and sport and sport xl also all worked great and sound great.

Speaker came in 4 days earlier then expected, looks and sounds Brand new no scratches nothing missing works perfectly! It’s loud this speaker is perfect for my gym & outside when I’m BBQ’n or throwing a backyard kick back it’s LOUD!!!! You won’t be disappointed

I was looking for a speaker with a sub, that was portable, loud enough for a small gym, Bluetooth, waterproof, battery life is good, and could link to a 2nd if needed. I finally found it!

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to a DeWalt job site radio for working in construction. Radio seems to be decent quality. You can tell it’s used, has a slight crack at the top but other then that, works great! Goes pretty loud, probably won’t have it much higher then 8 or 9 for volume, goes up to 30. Much louder then a job site radio. Good bass but don’t crank it and the unit volume, haven’t tried it but it’ll probably distort. Perfect for what it was looking for and pretty affordable too.
