Nice filament dryer
Good price and works great. I have best results opening every couple hours as the vent is tiny and moisture builds up as filament dries. Overall does what I needed at a good price.

I Use This All The Time
Very handy. Simple to use. Works well to dry filament to use or store. Also works as a dry box on filament that needs to be dried as it prints like nylon and TPU. I can run a PTFE tube directly from this dryer to the printer. Note that the default temperature for filament is usually about 5 degrees centigrade below the recommended drying temperature, so it needs to be adjusted every time. Easy to do.

Great budget dryer
Works well, but i wish it had a constant on feature. The time dry is good and it fits a lot of filament. You will want a proper dry-box with this.

Essential Filament Dryer - Dramatically Improved Print Quality
This Comgrow filament dryer has been a game-changer for my 3D printing quality. The upgraded large capacity design fits two standard 1kg spools comfortably, which is incredibly convenient. The heating element works efficiently to remove moisture from filament, and I've noticed a significant improvement in print quality since I started using it. The temperature control is adjustable and maintains consistent heat throughout the drying cycle. The built-in timer function is perfect for overnight drying without worrying about overheating. The transparent lid lets me monitor the filament without opening it and letting moisture back in. The unit is well-constructed and feels durable. The LCD display is clear and easy to read. I love that I can feed filament directly from the dryer to my printer during printing, keeping it dry throughout the entire process. For anyone printing with hygroscopic materials like nylon or PETG, this dryer is essential. It's dramatically reduced stringing and improved layer adhesion. Excellent investment for serious 3D printing.

Must have for advanced filaments.
I will say to start off with this is not necessary if you want to print with PLA. If you want to print with more advanced filaments this device is a game changer in the humid south.. I love this device it delivers great drying capability and as allowed me to print with ASA and TPU that I did not have the ability to do regularly with the humidity in the south. The machine is easy to use plug in put filament in and it will do rest. Very happy and would highly recommend!!

Drying great, feeding poor.
As a straight filament dryer, it’s easy to use and effective, printing from the unit with anything that has resistance such as TPU results in repeated failures. The exit of the printing tubes being at an angle and so close to the filament causes the ptfe tubes to have a decent bend in them, increasing resistance while pulling on the filament. I feel a unit that has a flat top feed port would work better as it is less sharp bends of the filament before hitting the extruder.

So worth it
I wasn’t sure how well this would work I’m still a novice and this price was far below most others … sometimes you get what you pay for - this time I got something well worth every single penny- works beautifully- instructions and operation was easy- easy enough that I really didn’t need instructions. Works well saves me way more than I realized including hassle. I like the way it locks and vents the moisture when drying - I did observe a tiny bit of condensation on the lid but we keep our thermostat set on arctic and the filament I was drying had been left out for quite a long time- the $40 I spent on this saved me from chucking $150 worth of filament . It is a dryer not just storage. I just dry it then store what I’m not going to use anytime soon in vacuum seal bags. What I did not realize is how different freshly dried filament saves on frustration, colorful wording, frequent reprints…. I love how I needn’t even remove it from the box with a place to pull the filament through. I’m beginning to wonder if perhaps I shouldn’t just but another one to save time but I don’t print a a hobby but for parts and pieces and to use for casting. This is so so helpful- if you are teetering with the decision- I wouldn’t bother with the more expensive ones this one does the trick. I’ve used this more than once btw-,probably a combined total of 72 hours dry time. Even if you need a larger capacity - it’s still cheaper to purchase two of these than one of the four spool driers. Well worth it.

Not bad...prints fine from dryer itself, it's good enough for now. Plenty of mod options.
I just started 3d printing and got the cheapest I could find. First off this has a major design flaw the bottom of the dryer gets very hot because there is no air flow at the bottom of the case! This will get your table quite warm and possibly damage it over time if its plastic or laminated! I had some stick on some rubber feet to elevate the unit and that fixed the problem instantly! I later bought some silicone speaker isolation feet (heat resistant and way taller) to replace them for more airflow and the bottom only gets warm now, I just stuck them over the original 3/4 sized anti skid pads. This is a very bare bones unit but nice, the model I received has 4 filament holes 2 on top in addition to the 2 front like as pictured and apparently I have the new firmware which now has 50C as the starting temp and 48hr max timer, yay! Got to be frank this does not look like its gonna last long its cheap looking but it does what its supposed to! You can not rely on opening all the filament ports to let moisture escape you have to crack the lid with the locking clamps as a prop to dehydrate otherwise it takes forever. There are a bunch of printable mods to improve this unit which look fun to try. So far I am printing with one spool in the dryer and a spare just sitting there drying out with whatever silica packs I can fit in the centers of the spools to recharge them...rollers work fine and the silicone filament hole grommets don't impede the flow too much but I'm going to replace them soon, like I said there are so many videos on this unit to mod it! One star taken for the horrible heat problem on the base where you HAVE to buy feet, otherwise nice unit to fiddle and play around with.
