Holds 31psi of boost on Garrett GT2260 on MK7.5 GTI
Upgraded my stock is20 turbo to a Garrett GT2260 unit. The discharge pipe is a unique size and all my other couplers kept popping off under boost.I came across this coupler and figured I'd give it a try.Pro Tip! If you're having a hard time getting it to fit on your charge pipe or any pipe for that matter, go sneak into the bathroom and grab some hairspray. Yeah, weird, i know, but trust me. Spray the end of your pipe all the way around with the hairspray before sliding your coupler on. It acts as a lubricant when it's wet and a mild adhesive when it's dry. Worked wonders on my project.Secure with some constant tension clamps or at least done high quality TBolt clamps, i recommend the Mishimoto Gold clamps or the Breeze clamps. Combined with this coupler you should be free of boost leaks and no more worries about the charge pipe blowing off.The coupler has a quality construction with the reinforced sidewalls and hefty threads molded directly into the silicone.There are no bad things i can say about this coupler, it worked for me!

Just what I needed!
Worked great for what I needed it for. Was building a smoke machine and what someway to make the smoke flow pressurized some. Got this coupler cause it fit on the old air mattress air pump we had around. And then found an adaptor to go down to hose connection size. ( I know, ya gotta see pictures)It's powered with one of those power boxes so It's portable. As long as I have a 12 volt battery handy, can go anywhere and work.Pictures included are this coupler connected to the air pump. 2nd picture is my set-up for smoke testing. Power box, air pump, smoke machine, hose connections, and power lines to a 12 volt battery.If interested in what the air pump is, it was a Costco air bed in the previous life. I removed everything but the pump. The air mattress had too many holes to repair.
