Witches of East End stars Julia Ormond as Joanna Beauchamp, an ageless mother trying to keep a supernatural secret from her daughters, Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and Ingrid (Rachel Boston), so they can lead a normal life. But when Joanna's estranged sister (Madchen Amick) arrives to warn her of an evil entity out to destroy them all, Joanna is forced to reveal the truth about her family's magical legacy. Co-starring Virginia Madsen, Eric Winter and Daniel DiTomasso, this powerful and enchanting drama series will cast its spell on you!

Witches Of East End is My Guilty Pleasure
Witches Of East End happens to be one of my favorite new shows around. Season 1 was great. I originally wanted to watch the show because of Virginia Madsen. I've been a big fan of hers for a while, shes been a big horror icon in my eyes. Her addition to the show put it together as a whole. I hope she will soon return again in some shape or form. I also wanted to watch for the amazing Mädchen Amick. I've loved her since Twin Peaks! Amick's character Wendy brings a comical side to the show. Shes sort of witty, yet sarcastic. Its a great mix and Amick does a great job portraying the character Wendy. 10 Episodes was way to short for season 1. I'm glad season 2 was extended with 13 episodes. On a side note, Season 2 is starting off amazing. I hope the show continues to run for a long time. Comparing the show to Charmed is a mistake many people seem to be making. I'm a Charmed fan myself but with this show you will not hear, constantly, these witches complaining about wanting a normal life. Freya and Ingrid actually have been living a normal life about until now. The show is a must for me! Recently The Client List, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, was cancelled on lifetime. THIS show is why I no longer care about The Client List. It's a replacement for me!I hope to see a lot more guest stars and I actually hope some cast regulars. A lot of Buffy stars have been on the show, and even more are heading into the second season. I hope Sarah Michelle Gellar will make an appearance on the show, I feel like it would be awesome seeing former vampire slayer Buffy playing a witch of some sort? I also hope to see some Charmed cast members, would it be to much to ask if the Halliwell sisters joined the Beauchamp's in some serious daemon killing.Anyway, I'll conclude my rant. Check it out if you want! You won't regret it!

Witches of East End: Charmed on Steroids
For anyone who enjoys witch fiction with a touch of spice and humor you will love Witches of East End. The cast is perfect, the suspense is perfect, the characters are well played, and the magic is sensational. The show is off to a great start. If it continues as well as it has begun I will surely be addicted. Witches of East End is great fun and I look forward to every episode.I reviewed the pilot earlier but I just watched the episode Electric Avenue. It was Amazing.I am not emotionally moved by a television show often but, without giving any of the plot twists away, I was touched by the beauty of this episode. As a Spiritualist I found the interplay between worlds elegant though not entirely resonant with my experience. As a witch the next time I cast a circle I am going to try it with flowers - that was awesome. The producers, writers (including the original author), actors, everyone connected with this series is doing a wonderful job. Thank you so much for inspiration and entertainment.Much love,David

I miss this show
I have not read the book it was based on, but I really enjoyed this show. It's a little gorey, but otherwise it is very engaging and character driven despite all the magical stuff.

Amazing show!
I absolutely love this show! I am so upset that it only had two seasons. I first saw this on Netflix and loved it. I watched it all a couple of times and then Netflix took it off the website.... I was so angry about it that I had to buy the show on dvd. I love it. Great cast and a great story line. I love anything witch related. The only bad thing is that it only had two seasons and of course they didn't know it would get cancelled so the ending was expecting another season to finish it up. I would highly recommend this show.
