I guess the first thing to point out here is that this is a caffeine based supplement. The daily serving of a couple of capsules gives you 250mg which is quite high if you’re not used to taking caffeine. Although you do take them at different times of the day. I certainly wouldn’t be taking one of these close to bedtime if you’re not used to caffeine I’d maybe just start off with a half dose of 1 capsule daily. I really appreciate the fact that this is a clearly marked vegan supplement with a vegetarian capsule shell. The capsules are typical size and easy enough to swallow. You are getting 60 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of 2 then they will last you around a month. I like the addition of black pepper which should aid absorption rates. You get a decent expiry date so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider for your metabolic health.

Ive used several other glucose disposal aids such as SLIN (USA product) and glycomax (UK product I think) and they all have similar (or the same) ingredients but at different amounts. After testing this product and the other 2 mentioned there does not seem to be a massive difference in their effect. After researching more into each separate ingredient it seems that berberine is the most effective, with a 1500mg daily dosage being "apparently" as powerful as metformin (a prescribed drug for type 2 diabetics, some bodybuilders also use this). I was interested as this product had banoaba leaf within it at a high amounts, however I cant find any decent studies that confirm its carb blocking abilities... I would recommend this product but equally Id say you could just buy berberine on its own..... a similar product called glycomax have 1000mg of berberine per serving which is the most Ive ever found. I used examine.com to research each ingredient and Id recommend others due the same...

Product seeming does the job, I don't feel bloated or uncomfortable after high carb/cheat meals however, several caps have broken inside the bottle, meaning the bottom of the bottle is all powder and remaining caps have a powdery residue, which does not taste nice at all.

Poor value better Gda supplements out there

I have been diagnosed as being pre-diabetic and so have been trying to improve my diet and my lifestyle in an effort to reduce my blood glucose levels and lose some pounds. I have been taking these Glucose Disposal Agent capsules from CNP for about two weeks so not very long and probably too early to tell if they are of benefit. I cannot confirm any muscle improvement, however, my blood glucose levels have definitely been lower. Before taking these capsules, my average blood glucose levels were 7.2 mmol/L whereas, for the last 10 days, it has stayed at around 6.2 mmol/L. Of course, this may be coincidentally due to other factors, but it does seem encouraging. Certainly encouraging enough for me to trial, at least for a month. They are quite large but easy to swallow singly, the recommended serving is three caps and I take one at three different times. They have no discernible taste and I have not experienced any adverse side effects. I do seem to have a little more energy of late but that could be co-incidence or even just wishful thinking on my part. I have to say that, at 90p per day, I find these capsules a tad expensive, and if I start to take them long-term I may struggle to afford them, but if they live up to expectations and make a real improvement to my health, some would say, they’re worth it, and I would likely have to try to budget for them.

Fairly decent product and cheaper than companies offering similar but still a touch expensive for what it is

Well I have to say that these tablets did take my appetite away BUT I have never EVER been so tired! I started with 1 a day Took early morning and by 2 pm I was completely shattered I had the worst energy drop ever and I’ve taken lots of different fat burners I literally struggled to stay awake and had zero energy to go to the gym I actually slept in one morning by 2 hours I’ve stopped taking them after 2 weeks and still struggling with energy levels Also, I find that if you need to go to the toilet on these then you really need to go I was just short of a bad accident with a number 2 Found I needed to take diarrhoea tablets to help All round can’t deal with theses Maybe just me

Didn’t come with a lid so now I am having to use a different old lid on the tub
