The locking mechanism is part of the ignition. As long as you to not mess with the ignition this should not interfere with the oem steering lock.

Will this fit my 1995 ranger 4x4 ?

Yes, this is a universal steering wheel so it will work on any vehicle. You just need to get a mounting up to adapt the wheel to your vehicles steering shaft.

How many inches deep is this steering wheel?

It’s probably like 1.5-2 inches deep. Nothing crazy. But with an added hub, it really adds up. It’ll be closer than stock by about an inch

This will fit any car as long as you have the steering wheel hub for that particular vehicle! Question will be finding the hub!
