My gmrs and ham radios needed an external speaker connection with a trrs plug. This one works and fits great.

I am hard on headphones and got sick of buying a new pair every year. I was able to fix 2 pairs of beytron headphones with these ends. The only thing I would say is use shrink tubing. The screw on cap with these doesn't strain relieve the connections. What I did was slipped the cap on, then shrink tubing. After soldering and shrinking the tube over the connections/wire the cap was still able to go on over top and gave a nice finished look.

Impossible to make connections to this design. Absolutely AWFUL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The materials and build quality are pretty good., and it looks pretty nice and solid when installed. However, it does not fit very thick cables, like the Grado SR80e that I bought these for. I had to enlarge the cable hole and re-solder several times to get the wires to fit inside the cover.

Works fine for what we needed. Fully functional. Thicker that some headphone wires. Very flexible and rubbery. Not really for plugging in and out constantly. Plug it in, okay to move as needed, and leave it alone. It will last forever.

Good value. Good enough for what I was looking for: a simple and simply-designed TRRS 3.5mm plug with solder connections.
