Functional but overpriced
Functional and does the job, but overpriced. I was a little disappointed that it does not lock into base in any way and is totally separate.

Careful not to scratch your new mower!!
Was advised by Husqvarna themselves to get this for our McCulloch S400 as they dont make a McCulloch specific one but this fits perfectly-and it does to be fair. Be careful not to ‘screw’ it too far into the ground around the base station though as if its a few millimetres too far down you get a scratch on the top of the mower where it drives in and out. There is VERY little room between the top of the mower and the roof.Does what its supposed to though. Is expensive for what it is but easier and quicker than building your own house.UPDATE: The roof is closer than we first suspected. My mower (admittedly a McCulloch S400 as previously stated-although advised by the ‘parent’ company it would fit) has superficial scratches on the top from when it goes in and comes out of the charging station. On a few occasions I’ve found it snagged on the roof at an awkward angle when it’s tried to return and ive had to lift the lid and manually put it back. The most frustrating part by far is that for the past few weeks every time its seemed to dock ok it hasnt come back out again at the next specified time. I noticed the app kept saying STOPPED-MANUAL ACTION REQUIRED as opposed to DOCKED or CHARGING. If i went out and turned it on with the button off it went again until the next time it docked. After countless emails and phonecalls and software updates (I thought it was a software issue at first!) I’ve recently realised that if I leave the roof tipped up it works fine, and 90% of the time the roof is down it stops again. So I’m going to unscrew the house, lift it a bit and refit it to see if that sorts it.Its still a cool house for the mower, if a little expensive, and Im still pleased with it. I thought I’d include this update in case anyone else is experiencing the same as me and its driving them as crazy as it has me over the past month or so.And if you’re thinking of buying it-especially for a McCulloch then make SURE you fit it with some room to spare at the top!😅

Too expensive for what it is.
I think a necessary add on for the robotic mower. Issue I have is it is incredibly expensive for what it is, £100 and it should be part of the package as the mower was over £600. I have since seen that Flymo now offer this as a free accessory when purchasing the Flymo. A bit annoying to say the least. The functional aspects are as started on the tin and easy to install and use . Make sure you find retailer who offers this as part of main package. A friend who also bought the mower used a dog kennel as the housing. Cost him £20.

Overpriced, oversized and badly designed.
On the plus side, it seems to be made of reasonably high quality plastics. On the minus side, where to start?Firstly, this "house" does actually attach to the easilife base, it's literally just a giant hood that you place over it. Combined with an inherently unstable cantilevered shape, and held to the ground only with more plastic turf screws, you end up with a roof that's double the size it needs to be to do the job, and cannot be established on a hard surface.Secondly, despite the fact that the sole purpose of the house is to protect your robot from weather, the instructions explicitly say it can't be left outside when the temperature is below zero, and should be stored indoors for winter. Finally, it's ludicrously expensive for what it is.

Perfect but overpriced for a few pieces of plastic
We did consider making a little house for the newest member of the family but due to a sunny Bank Holiday weekend and not being able to buy materials easily during lockdown we decide to buy this ready made one. Fits perfectly and looks very neat . Just can't believe I spent £90 on a piece of plastic. I would like to think the price of these will come down in time .
