Great flavor
Flavor is good! It's also a great alternative to gels which I couldn't do. It made me gag every single time. These however are my go to for long distance running.

Yummy energy supply.
Great option for easy to pack calories/energy for hikes, and love the flavor as it truly tastes like tropical punch. The caffeine is a nice boost to help for more difficult climbs. I always keep extra in case I want to extend a hike!

Great addition to your nutrition pack
I tried the CLIF BLOKS in Tropical Punch flavor during a long hike, and honestly, they were pretty darn tasty! The flavor was great, not too strong or fake, and they were super easy to chew. Plus, they gave me a quick boost of energy when I needed it most, which was awesome! They're definitely a convenient and yummy way to fuel up for your next outdoor adventure. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try!

Great race/training food in a very convenient form.
As much as you can love this type of stuff, I love it. I'd prefer a hamburger and fries when I get really hungry but for racing or when I need some convenient calories, I really like these chews. It is a bit more palatable than just sucking down a gel and less sticky and messy. Plus it is easy to carry and provides twice as many calories as most gels. This may be my favorite flavor too, very hard to describe but something like a mix of fruit punch and some kind of melon taste. I also feel like the caffeine can be helpful, sometimes I will eat three of the bloks prior to a longer run in the morning when I don't have time to eat something substantial and it seems to make early long runs in the dark and cold go by just a bit easier. I would say that it is very useful to try and keep them close to your body if you are out on cold days as they can get pretty hard to chew if they are in an outside pocket on a 25 degree ride.

Perfect little snack during a bike ride
Last year I'd discovered the little Gatorade energy chews at my local grocery store. They were good for a mid-ride replenishment of calories and energy. I wasn't a fan of the flavor or the grainy texture. I found these on Amazon while investigating alternatives and I'm thoroughly impressed. 6 to a pack, 3 to a serving. 100 calories. Flavor is delicious. Caffeine boost in these isn't crazy, but seems like just enough to give the brain a kick and recover some focus. I've also been using them at work as a mid-afternoon snack. Instead of some random 90 calorie snack I have a serving of these. The little bit of caffeine combats the afternoon food coma. I figure it's a healthier option than a mid-afternoon coffee with sugar and creamer.

That's one of the other nice things, compared to goos
I have never been a fan of the goos and other pasty energy products. I got a free sample on a bike ride a couple years ago of these blocks, and was impressed. I mostly use them for bike rides, and try to always have a sleeve or two tucked away on the bike. Most rides I might not use them, but on long rides, I'll use a block or two. That's one of the other nice things, compared to goos, you don't have to use the whole package at one time. I do feel that you get a little noticeable energy from them. I have started using them for more than the bike. When out hiking, I have carried them, and I am now keeping a couple with my survival kit when I go off roading.

Our Go-To Energy Boost on Long Rides
We ride mountain bikes - and sometimes you need a quick hit. We've tried gels - no thanks. These Clif Bloks do the trick - they fit easily in hip belt pockets of our hydros so they are at hand when needed. Taste is very good. When you're torching calories on big climbs, these can put a little fuel back in the tank. NB - I think they are expensive at MSRP, if you can find a way to get them on sale, or via subscription etc. you can save a bit of money.

Try to soften before ingesting.
I was looking for an efficient way to fuel myself while on long runs. Bars are too cumbersome and I was skeptical about energy chews. But it turned out to be a worthwhile experience and investment. I did my first long run with these and they helped...as long as you READ the consumption information, it will work like its supposed to. Water IS necessary. The flavor isn't bad either. Though I did have some issues with chewing them up, I found that if you keep them as close to your body as possible, you body heat softens them making them easier to chew. I wear a full crown on my molar and it did gum it up a bit, but they dissolved a lot easier because they were warmed.

Given that the product comes from the USA, it arrived in the given time. It is a superb product, I love it, a real pity you can't get it in the UK otherwise. it makes it very expensive
