Not a bad taste like others say in my opinion
This really does'nt taste bad at all ,it just looks like something you would'nt eat when you were a kid , so it's mostly mental . If you don't like ginger or cinnamon then you probably wont like this , because that's all I ever taste . I just mix it with plain water , I like spring mix salads and I usually make a glass of this along with one but I sometimes sprinkle it directly on salads too and it just adds to the flavor . Overall it's a bit pricey but very well crafted if you can afford it , it's worth the health benefits .

Noticed Some Slight Positive Results from Recent Blood Work- Recommend!
I bought this awhile back due to some abnormal readings on my liver and was looking for something to help me detox it, since I have an MTHFR genetic polymorphism, and people like us have difficulty with detoxification. I have to admit that at first I wasn't as consistent with drinking this, since I'm often on the go, and I need to take time to prepare it. I think I started with one hot or cold beverage a week, then dropped to about once every two weeks. I recently had a blood test done, and noticed that my abnormal levels improved slightly. I have to include that I also started taking SAM-E, a liver cleansing supplement around the same time and have also added more good fats to my diet, so I can't make a direct correlation to this tea, but I am going to increase drinking this more often and will see if my results get better. I'll update that on my next blood work. On another note, when I first took a look at the powdery green substance, I immediately dreaded the taste, but was quite surprised that it had somewhat of a sweet flavor, due to the cinnamon in the mix of ingredients. It wasn't bad at all. I like to drink it as a hot tea, with a bit of raw honey, but if I don't have time, I prepare it ahead by adding it to bottled water with no sweetener, so that I can grab one when I'm on the go. It doesn't have an aftertaste, but it is slightly gritty as you get closer to finishing it due to the combination of ingredients that settled to the bottom, but if you don't keep mixing it as you're drinking it, or shaking it if you add it to bottled water, then give it a go; which is the reason for the four stars, by the way. Otherwise, it would have been a five!

Turmeric tea with matcha and complimentary spices - best in class!
For those who say it's grainy, keep in mind the base is matcha green tea - every matcha out there requires whisking, blending, or in my case, shaking. For those who say it doesn't taste good in water, matcha is not made for water alone - milk or creamer is typical. For anyone who has tried multiple tumeric or matcha drinks, like I have, I think you'll find we are the ones giving 5 stars. Other matcha are grainer, other turmeric teas have way too much pepper taste. I add the turmeric tea powder, a dollop of fat free condensed milk or a splash of coffee creamer, and a scoop of honey. I mix it in a spill proof travel tumbler. I shake it quite a bit. I drink it at work and have commented to curious onlookers I prefer my morning martini shaken, not stirred. LOL I am no longer a coffee drinker thanks to this healthful elixir! Turmeric tea is a much better way to start the morning. Cinnamon balances blood sugar, turmeric and pepper work together to smooth out the aches and pains, and ginger helps digestion, matcha boosts metabolism and is a great antioxidant. Turmeric tea is an idea blend for my morning and afternoon tea. Opportuniteas is a great seller and promptly answered a question I asked.

Maybe I'm spoiled
I've been drinking 100% "ceremonial" grade matcha prior to this, so maybe my standards are too high. The Liver Cleanse is just ok tasting on its own in cold water, and it's still a little chalky. I ordered for the taste and was hoping for a spicy green tea kind of taste, but I don't notice a cinnamon or ginger taste. The flavors might be more pronounced when hot, but I tend not to have hot drinks in the summer. It's probably ok tossed into a smoothie if you are looking for health benefits. I canceled my subscription for this one. I also ordered the Tumeric, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm hoping for more of a chai taste, and I'll update when I get it.

Gentle cleanse
What a great easy to use product! The flavor is earthy, with the matcha tea and spirulina so you could add honey to sweeten it up. Mix with warm or cold water, give it a swirl and drink. I drink 5 oz. In the morning and again in the evening. Great value for money and my liver is happy:)

Wonderful product!
I have been wanting to add Tumeric to my diet.....I don't really like taking pills, and this seemed to have a good dosage of Tumeric per serving. I had been using matcha tea and am not fond of the residue and chalkiness by itself, as well as bland flavor. I read an article on "golden milk" and when I found this with the added cinnamon, black pepper, ginger and matcha thought I would try it. A bit expensive, for the size to me, and I have only been using this for a few days, but I believe it is worth it and will continue using it. I have been making a cup of "tea" - late afternoon or after dinner using a scoop of the tea powder, a spoonful of unsweetened coconut cream (not the kind used for mixed drinks) a bit of unsweetened almond/coconut milk hot water and a few drops of stevia. This makes a wonderful beverage and feels great! Just sweet enough and with good flavor so as I don't crave something sweet after dinner. Recipes for the golden milk use a homemade Tumeric paste....but this take on it is way better in my opinion. I really like the combination of herbs. Many other ways to use it I am sure....but a great product.
