amscan Childs Girls Nativity Small Stars Angel Christmas Fancy Dress Costume

Ordered this for my 5 year old Granddaughter who is an Angel in the Christmas Nativity. Sizing is always an issue for her as she is quite short for her age but she has quite thick upper arms. If we go for a 5-6, things are generally too long & drag in the floor but fit her arms but if we go for a 3-4, they are the right length but too tight on the arm. We opted for this costume as the dress is 3/4 length rather than full length so it fits her perfectly on her arms and only comes down to her ankles. The material is nice & soft with pretty gold star embellishments down the front, on the waist & on the head band. The head band is a little too big for her but we expected that so I'll put a bit of elastic on it rather than use the velcro. The separate gold wings have 4 velcro points so they fix securely & are easy to remove to get in & out of the dress. Granddaughter loves the outfit & it's different from the run of the mill supermarket costumes so she feels individual. Definitely recommend.

I bought this for my daughter for her nativity play. She is size 3-4 and if i am honest, the costume was a little on the small side especially across the back. The dress was the correct length, to which she did not have to lift it while she walked but it was tight across her back. Highly unlikely, she will get much use out of it due to being on the small side. Really should have gone another size up.

Such a beautiful and well made costume. Fits perfectly and love the fact the wings are velcro.
