Niacinamide 5% Facial Serum - Pore Reducer + Uneven Skin Tone Treatment + Diminishes Acne Prone, Skin Balancing Pore Reducing, Restores Elasticity, 6.75 Fl Oz

I was looking for an affordable 5% niacinamide toner to use as a lightweight serum / first step in my skin care routine. I was previously using Paula’s Choice Pore Reducing Toner, but that product only has 1% niacinamide, so it’s not as effective, and it’s expensive. I have found that 5% niacinamide is the perfect percentage to reduce oil production in my skin without being irritating. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Cos De Baha uses minimal ingredients and natural plant extracts. The formula has been improved since someone posted a pic of the ingredient list, so I will post a pic of the updated version. I Love the green tea and plant extracts. I had to google some of them - herbal extracts that have beneficial and antioxidant properties. It has a very light watery consistency that I love because I cannot stand anything occlusive. At the same time, it contains Aloe, Panthenol, Allantoin, and Hyaluronic acid, so it’s hydrating. I slather it on my entire face and neck when I get out of the shower in the AM, and then follow with a serum and sunscreen. The product feels good, hydrates, and effectively reduces oil production over time. Follow with Azelaic Acid in the AM and a Retinoid at night, and oiliness and acne will be a thing of the past.

Have been using this for years. It has helped with my oily skin and also with strengthening the skin barrier, in combination with other skincare products.

This product works very well. I bought it as a general "toner" to put on before other stuff, but the product itself is very effective and noticeably reduces the size of pores. It's a thin liquid, but not so thing that I'd use an applicator pad (although you can, apparently). However, I find it's easy to just dump some in your hand and slather it.

I have purchased this toner 7 times already and it’s my absolute favorite!!! My most repurchased skin care!

It's ok. Affordable skincare with no side effect. It's like water. I will try 10%next time.
