I work at a concrete plant and am on my feet 10-14 hours a day. Not only do I need a boot comfortable enough to help reduce strain on my feet, I need one tough enough to withstand regular abuse. From stomping through mud, oil, and cement powder (among other chemicals) to kicking on block forms and climbing 40 foot ladders, I need a damn near perfect boot for what I do. I have been using these boots for about a month and am very satisfied so far. Break-in period took about a week but after that they have been as comfortable as any pair of boots (or shoes) that I have ever owned. Size fits exactly as expected as well. My only real complaint so far is they're not quite as waterproof as I had hoped. The material around the tongue doesn't seem as resistant to water as the bottom and side portion of the boot, but unless you're going out of your way to submerge your feet it's not that bad. Time will tell if they hold up to the workload, but they're already far superior in every way to the Caterpillar 2nd shift I used before these. Would buy again!

The boots are working for me just fine. I am using them for work. The soles are heavy duty and the boots provide good ankle support.

I buy these boots every six months or so - I know that sounds like they wear out quickly, NOPE that's not why. Hubby does commercial roofing and is on his feet 9 to 12 hours a day, five & sometimes 6 days a week. Rain, snow, blistering heat (has recorded 125 degree heat index in July & Aug. this year) - these boots perform. When I replace them, it's not because they are worn out. He's worn out the PADDING. Tried putting padding inserts and it totally alters the fit of the boot. Padding is plenty substantial, just like anything else the more you use it the quicker it wears out. Will be buying again........and again.........

I can't be more pleased in how well these boots are constructed AND how comfortable they are. I wore a 13 EE in a Red Wing Irish Setter so I ordered the same size in this Keen boot and they fit perfectly. I work in a factory and average about 30-35 miles a week on concrete floors and do my fair share of scaffold climbing and standing on ladders. My old Redwing Irish Setters (made in Vietnam) gave me problems --small toe box, ZERO arch support, poor tread design. I finally pulled the trigger on the Keen Utility Men's Pittsburgh Steel Toe boots and they feel so great I just don't want to take them off. If you are on the fence about these, buy them now you won't regret it! KEEN Utility Men's Pittsburgh Steel Toe Work Boot,Bison,13 EE US

I formed a pretty major blister after a couple hours of use. But they are broken in now, and work great.
