Large is perfect for me
I had to return the jacket for a large. I’m a 44” chest at 5’11 185lbs. Large is perfect for me. This product is worth its weight in gold. Quality and function of this jacket is unbeatable! Perfect for a torrential down poor or light sprinkle. It can certainly be used for purposes other than bike riding, with a comfortable amount of space for thermal protection on the coldest of days.It has subtle reflection tape on exterior that is very bright and highly visible in the dark and under arm waterproof zipper vents. One on the back as well for warmer days. Their construction enables the vents to be fully open and still provide waterproof protection.Best waterproof cycling jacket on the market.Fashionable as well if you’re into that. It is the only cycling jacket I would recommend.Buy this product! You won’t regret it, just size down 1 if you can’t try it on first.Enjoy

best 3-season/winter cycling jacket bar none
I'm a year round North West cyclist on the commute, cyclocross, mtb, long road rides as well as hiking and climbing. I'm a gear nut. Good gear is important, bad gear makes it suck. I'm hard on things, so I go through a lot of rain gear. Showers pass elite 2.1 is the best out there for fall/winter/early spring bar none. I only wear rain-gear in the rain. NOTHING has been as comfortable in the cold rain. The forward-ish side zips, large cuffs, back vent keep airflow going when I want it. That and event 3xlayer is the most breathable option out there, better than goretex, much better than all the 2.5x layer designs that are clammy and can't last. This is the driest option for the wet-cold. Yet I can ride hard with the best breath-ability possible. Best I've had. In summer I go thinner lighter with a racing kit but that doesn't work in fall/winter here in the rainy NW. So when my elite 2.0 was stolen, I got the elite 2.1. wow, even better with an adjustable higher neck cuff and hood attachment option. Super well made. Its expensive but I won't be making excuses not to head out

Great jacket. Go one size larger.
I ordered a medium like nearly every top/jacket I own. It was also the correct size according to their sizing chart. It was WAY too small. I sent it back and got a large that fits well. I love the jacket. It has great ventilation and zips top and bottom which allows me to get a lot of air flow when it is wet but not cold.

This is a light but SERIOUS rain jacket
I purchased this jacket to keep me warm during spring gravel riding/racing in Northern New England. I wore it for the first time during a 39 mile ride in 46F degrees and driving rain for more than 1.5 hours. I was dry and warm. Granted the warm has to come from your base layers, blocking wind and rain are critical for these to work. The jacket breaths! It is true sized - I am 5'11' 173lbs and Large is a perfect fit to accommodate base layers.Overall, one of the best cycling specific clothing purchases I have ever made - why didn't I do this sooner is the question I am asking myself.

Outstanding Construction Similar to (But Not Quite As Refined As) Arc’teryx
This jacket — for hundreds less than Arc’teryx — provides virtually the same utility for everyday use while riding in the rain (or other light-duty wear).Quality built with waterproof zippers and a nice finishing-touch pocket for the zipper at the neck so you don’t get a chilly zipper part against your skin. The pockets are well-placed and useful — though I have had challenges with the zipper on the rear being difficult to operate while wearing the coat. The shoulder venting and, especially, the under-arm vents are perfect, ejecting the heat generated during a bicycle ride so you do not end up a sopping mess despite stopping the rain.I come back to comparing it to Arc’teryx. It is not that brand, obviously; and not as sophisticated as that brand. But for the price, it sure comes awfully close.I bought a Large.

I am a believer but was skeptical at first
I live in the Pacific Northwest where it is sometimes windy and often raining. I was skeptical about whether this jacket was right fo me at first because I loved my other Showers Pass jacket which I wore out. The old jacket was perfect for me.The new jacket is completely waterproof and windproof. It took some time for me to get used to the vents and how to keep cool and not get overheated. There could be improvements like adding vertical back pockets and a key pocket. Still, the jacket does what it was designed to do. Today I was in the rain for three hours and after fixing a rear tire flat I got home and the top half of me was dry and warm. It just took me a while to get used to how to dress under the jacket.Love the jacket. I’m riding 1000 miles this December so this jacket is an essential piece of my daily equipment.

well designed - good ventilation even in 70+ degrees
I had a chance to ride for 3+ hours in 70+ degree temps including when the sun went down and the temperature dropped. It was better than I thought and I was very very grateful to have it. The next day I spent allllll day (6 + hours) in it - it was colder and much needed. This is a great piece of kit that I hope will last me many years.

Great performing Cycling Jacket
Fantastic Jacket. Was a bit more than I was originally looking to spend, but the reviews were correct; invest in the right equipment and you won't be disappointed.I have worn this jacket over a Level 3 Under Armor shirt in 30 degree weather and was fine. Keeps me dry as well as ventilated. Good reflective bands on the arms, and the longer tail is a good touch as well. Great Jacket!

Water proof and breathable
Excellent the first water proof and breathable Jacket I have found after 45 years of cycling. I have ridden through some torrential rain since I have bought this and it had kept me dry and even with a 3 mile climb every day I don’t overheat . It’s a real game changer I’m very pleased with it .

Expensive but good
Although this item was pricey, it is very well made. The design is great for cycling. The elongated back makes sure your lower back stays covered and the long sleeves don’t ride up too far when you lean forward to hold the handlebars. It is fairly breathable and very waterproof. I went mountain biking with it on. It wasn’t raining but it was only 13 C. Under the jacket I wore a long sleeve jersey and long leg cycling pants. I wasn’t cold at all nor was I sweating from the “plastic bag” effect. My only complaint is that there is only one pocket. I am 5’10” 180 lbs and large fit well. Maybe a tad big but in riding position feels great. I don’t like riding in the rain but I’m eager to see how well it performs in truly wet conditions.

THE cycling jacket!
This jacket is very comfortable. I like how it covers the whole neck. The longer arm sleeves are long enough.I went biking three times with it so far (Ext temp ranging 3-6 degrees celsius). My only regret is not buying it sooner...
