As a tall guy lanyards suck for trying to scan my badge so having a good retractable badge that comes with a badge holder is really important for me. The retractable wire is really tuff I have had no problems with is for a little over 4 months. It can be a little bulky on your hip while you’re walking around but for how easily it works and how long lasting it is I can’t stress enough how amazing this product is. A big thing for me too is it holds my badge tightly and I can still scan my badge through it. If your looking for a lanyard alternative or a new retractable one this is the one for you.

These keychains work so well. Strong, clean, very easy and helps keep my keys and ID badge attached to my belt clip with easy maneuvering. Love it!!!

So far so good I’ve been searching for a strong durable key / key cards / etc retractable holder that don’t rip or hang loose. This one so far as soon as I open it was great feel to it . Strong retraction . Feels like it can hold all my keys and key cards . I’ll be putting it to use today so I will give a more thorough review of its function . But well worth it so far . If your like me and need a strong strong retractable . Buy it and try it .

I like this badge holder, and I've been very pleased with it -- until it broke after only two months of use. It seems like it's a robust and well-made product, but this experience has left me doubtful. I tried contacting the seller/Amazon, and got the message that there are no replacements for this item. It's a good thing they're sold in pairs, so I can use the other one as a back-up. If the first one breaking was just a fluke, and the second one lasts, then I'll be okay with it. But at this point, I'm not feeling very confident this will be the case, and I'd suggest caution if you're considering buying this.Update: Raising my rating from 3 stars to 4, as the seller reached out to me and sent me a free replacement. Very good customer service, and I appreciate that.

This steel cable retractable badge reel is much more secure, I don’t have to keep picking up the pieces of my badge, and the string isn’t sagging because my badge is too heavy. It’s reliable and works great. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I would definitely buy again.

Very sturdy, clips on the belt loop so that it stays in place when having to use for scanning at work. Durable and just what I was looking for.

Great and wears well - I am a landscaper and painter and this item takes a tough road with my work, so I highly recommend. Can withstand anything!
