Does it have intermittent mode to stir sauce a bit every ~10min?

Is this safe for non-stick/teflon?

Yes. I bought it for my son as he makes a dish that requires constant stirring for 4-5 hours snd he uses a Teflon electric skillet. And it still looks like new
