I'm a big fan of the original "Manhattan Project" board game, as it definitely sits in in my top ten favorites. This card version had sat on my wishlist for quite some time and I finally chose to pull the trigger and buy it, and I can honestly tell you, I was not disappointed. The theming and artwork are very much in line with the original. Each card is well thought out and leaves you conflicted, choosing between the power of the card and the worker resources that can be used when flipped on its side. The card symbols are direct and easy to understand. Being a gamer who loves deeper games, but have found myself introducing lighter weight games to people new to the hobby, I can tell you that this one is fairly easy to pick up, yet it has the feel and choices of heavier faire. It was perfect for a recent trip to a brewery, where we had some table space and time to kill. For such a low price point, I highly recommend this one!

Okay, lacking some single player definition
I accidentally bought this because I thought it was an expansion for the board game. It would have cost me more to return it, so I gave it a try. It is an interesting idea, makes for a fun little, quick game. Single player needs some improvements though, as the instructions were only "see how many bombs you can build before the deck runs out." Basically, no point in playing alone. Would have been nice if they made single player a little competitive, like 8 points and you're bad, 12 and you're good, 15 is expert or whatever. 2 player was interesting enough, would be fun to play with more people.

This game is sure to glow
Bought this game to have a light filler card game but it turned out to be so much more. This game is fun for everyone. It has strategy, intrigue and lots of options. This game works for gamers that like lots of thinky strategy and light gamers who enjoy straight forward fun. We have played this game many times and there are a multitude of winning strategies and it almost always comes down to one round where everyone is about to win. We enjoy this game a lot and it is sure to stay in the collection for awhile. Love it for gamers and entry players as well.

A great game.
Never even considered the original due to the length of playtime. This game can be played in thirty minutes or less (perhaps too quickly). Great illustrations, clear instructions and a theme that doesn't fade. Of all the games I have owned, this is the easiest game to teach, especially to novice players, in five to ten minutes. A expansion to add variability to the game would be great!

Fun Little Filler
I found this fun, a taste of the board game without all of the complexity. It's entertaining for solitaire, although there really isn't a one player system; if you play alone you just try to beat your high score.

Brilliant game concept
This is great game that also plays single player. Played with 3 players so far and it took us about 30 minutes to finish. It can be learned quickly as the rules are nicely streamlined and not overly complicated. Easy, and quick to set up. Definitely nice addtion to my game collection.

Great little game
Love the board game, this has echoes of that, and offers a neat little filler game with echoes of its sibling. The mechanics are a bit reminiscent of card suiting games, but we enjoyed it.
