I purchased this pointer to use for my commercial vehicle inspections but it can be used for so much more (demonstrations, facilitations, etc.). It is sturdy and extends to a comfortable length and retracts as a pen-like tool. Thank you for such a lovely purchase! I will definitely buy again.

I already had one of those before, but my students went crazy after seeing me use this specific one. It's longer than the old one I had, and it's in black. Awesome!However, after a month or 2, the top most segment is now slightly bent, and sometimes it feels as if it will break (only top segment). I hope it holds its ground. I guess this is happening because sometimes I hit things with it (sometimes things, sometimes the students lightly and jokingly). Those hits probably put stress and pressure on it. It ain't meant for hitting.Lastly, the paint will scratch after use and storage (storing it in random places), unless you store it in the sleeve it comes with.

Perfect length to sit next to a student to point to their sheet music so I don’t have to crowd them and lean over them. The tip is just a little large to point super accurately, especially in smaller printed music. It isn’t super sturdy, and the thinnest section doesn’t stay in place. Good value though.
