It is a nice, well built tool. It is comfortable to hold, but something just seems to work better the traditional way. That said, for those who may be seeking out a quality tig pen. This is it.

It's a great product. I've been welding for 21 years and my hands hurt enough without tig welding. I'm able to feed small and large amounts of wire smoothly. It took me roughly 30 minutes to get adjusted to using it effectively. I use it whenever possible. It's very high quality especially for the price.

My old hands are losing their flexibility 😞 This pen makes them happy 😁 Works smoothly and makes feeding the filler rod an easy task. I've used it with 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8 rod with no issues. Highly recommend!

Works okay. But the red rubber side is better to use for smaller than 1/8th inch. Sometimes it doesn't register properly but if you pull filler out and put back in is nice.

Build quality is top notch. Compared to other TIG rod feeders, this one is a little thicker and the knurled surface makes it WAY easier to grip with gloves on. With my other smooth textured feeders, I was always dropping it. The clip allows this to fit securely in on jackets arm pocket so it’s always with me when I need it. Overall I am super pleased with this product and is worth every penny. No more hand cramps for me!

After welding professionally for the last 8 years, I took the dive and picked up a I new Lincoln tig welder for my shop to take on new jobs. The hand that I use to feed filler rod has had several traumatic injuries, so I was having difficulty feeding rod smoothly and consistently as I’d like during a weld, especially with gloves on. I saw a video featuring a tool like this years ago, and this was the first tool I stumbled upon in my search. The pen is well made with quality materials and has some weight to it which I like. Had to return . Wire was not steady in device . Made welding more difficult, wasn’t helpful.

The one I received DID NOT work, the knurled wheel would not feed the filler rod, it just slipped on the rod when turned, another low quality tool made offshore
