The cord is more than likely plastic but good quality, I had to let them hang & relax so the cord didn’t have any kinks in it. They are good quality & weight. Perfect for anyone to use as an affordable option bolo tie.

For the price they are well worth it
I get lots of comments on the ties but let's face it, these are cheap. That said they look good at a distance and function ok. The white one looks great with a white shirt and the blue one is stricking

These are really nice! Solid weight and seems to be really good quality. Unfortunately, I received two of the same. It's missing one of the nice blue and pink ones.
