Q: Can I put this on an existing standard ceiling light fitting?

the fitting connection from the black part (pendant), has a spring action fitted that connects to the moon. Was easy to do, took a few mins to swap the pendant over

Q: Can this be changed to Bayonet bulb?

You can get adaptors that convert from E27 to bayonet. They do take up space though so the bulb would hang lower in the light fitting.
