I bought this as an upgrade from the flimsy plastic scooper I was using. When I first got this one, I couldn't believe how heavy it was. After a few days I didn't even notice the weight anymore. I was just so used to using a plastic one. This new one is a great quality. It's sturdy and it gets the job done. You can easily scoop up anything, even when there is pee stuck to the litter box. My old plastic one did not fair well with situations like that. I also like that this metal scooper is more sanitary. It doesn't get anything stuck to it like the plastic ones do and it is very easy to clean, unlike the plastic scoopers. Do yourself a favor and buy it! Like I said, if you are used to a plastic scooper, this one will feel so heavy at first. Give it a couple days and you won't even notice the weight. It will feel sturdy instead of heavy.

Much stronger than the average scooper. Still a little flex at the handle but I think it will hold up. Very large size picks up a lot at once.

This kitty litter scoop is the nicest, yet strongest scoop I've ever had! It actually makes scooping the kitty pan enjoyable. It's hefty design is sure to last for a very long time. It also works so well, nothing leaks out when transferring the poop or pee from the cat pan. I don't think I will ever have to buy another one!
