This part fixed the problem
I'd been trying to diagnose a minor issue on a 2009 Hyundai Accent for quite a while. The engine was running just a tad rough, especially at idle, but not too bad. Fuel mileage was also down about 1-2 mpg from my long term experience. Every few weeks I'd get a Check Engine light with various codes: Small Evap system leak, loose gas cap, random misfire, etc.I'd replaced the gas cap a few months earlier when that was the issue that caused the same symptoms, but replacing it again and cleaning the metal ring on the top of the filler tube where the rubber gasket on the fuel cap contacts it made no difference this time.I'd pulled the spark plugs and they looked good. All of the coils were properly firing. I'd changed the air filter (it was pretty close to due, anyway). I even cleaned the OCV/VTS. Nothing made much of a difference. I'd clear the codes out and anywhere from a week to a month later I'd get another CEL with one of the aforementioned diagnostic codes. Finally, the car became very hard to start after filling up. I tend to wait until the tank is less than one-quarter full to refuel. This pointed to the purge valve as the culprit. All of my local parts stores wanted $60+ for the part. I got it here for a little over $20!Installation of the new part was easy, but removing the old purge valve was a real pain. The rubber duct between the air filter and throttle body, as well as the throttle body (which also required un-anchoring the throttle control cables), had to be removed to loosen the rubber hoses on each end of the old purge valve. I probably should have replaced the short rubber hoses while I had everything apart, but I did not. After installing this new purge valve the engine immediately runs smoother to the point I finally realized how bad the problem had gradually gotten. It didn't seem that bad until I'd fixed it and now the engine runs so much smoother like it did several months ago before the issue began to appear. (This car is not driven very much, maybe 6,000 miles per year at most, and almost half of that is a few out of state road trips each year.) My in-town gas mileage also went back up almost 2 mpg to what I've come to expect from this car.

Excellent Deal, Perfect Fit
I've had zero problems with this part, it was a simple replacement that my mechanic was able to complete in less than 20 minutes. Some other model years of my particular vehicle have this part in a difficult to reach spot, but thankfully that was not the case here, and the mount for it already in the car was still in perfect condition and could be used for this one. 5/5!

Great product
Bought this for my 08 Hyundai Elantra because the check engine light would come on and off throwing this code. After a simple, easy install, the check engine light went right off and car runs great. This part was priced above $70 autozone, great affordable part. Highly recommend.

More $$ but worth it!
This was not Hyundai brand but Bosch. It worked on my Hyundai Elantra 2007 and removed the code. Prior to using this purge valve, I used to buy the cheaper versions. It was a big mistake. I learned the hard way, but better late than never.

Wasn't a genuine Hyundai part
The box said it was a genuine Hyundai part but it's not, it was some other brand. Luckily the other brand was reputable as well and I was desperate so I used it anyway and it's working fine so far. But beware, it was NOT an OEM part

Some Parts have to be replaced with OEM parts
This is an item that the OEM part is necessary. Although the price is twice as much as aftermarket products it worked perfect.
