Installed in a basher/trail build. Great value, used a program card I had lying around and it worked like a charm, was one of the cheap ones. Don't listen to the other reviews that say this ESC doesn't work, obviously someone that didn't have a clue about RC's wrote that. There are jumpers to make it go into high speed mode, or to put in crawler mode so you have a drag brake (just like the description says). Also has jumpers to choose what you want your BEC to be set at. If the motor spins the wrong way, reverse it on your transmitter... Pretty simple stuff, not a ESC problem. Don't let someone's bad review make you pass on this, I'm super happy with it. Actually bought another one of the motors for another project and that is also going strong. The ESC can run 2s or 3s, it's a rebranded surpass hobby 80a. If running a 12t motor however, the motor is only rated for 2s so just keep that in mind. Overall I would say it's very similar to a hobbywing 1060. Has great slow speed for crawling or trailing and also punch for bashing. Hope this helps! Have a good day.

Powerful motor. It's designed as a crawler setup, not sure I realized that, but it's functioning well in my 20 year old Rustler.

I got this one for my dad's slash 2WD after getting one for my slash 2WD runs smooth with plenty of power for a brushed motor. After 6 months the ESC is starting to brake down getting hot and causing the truck to stop and lock up after full acceleration and will not allow the truck to turn without sliding the truck around.

Just broke in the motor on this setup in my Traxxas Stampede, works good. I had to switch the black and red wire for proper rotation (May very by vehicle) but I would buy it again. Ran on 2s 5000mah pack 30-45 minutes with a 19t pinion and 90t spur. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I had issues immediately with the esc so I sent it back an they issued a refund almost immediately which was great. This set definitely earned 1 star bit I already have the exact same motor on my 1/16 slash 4wd an ot does great so that's why I gave 3 stars instead of 1.

Up graded the ESC and motor for my 1/12 desert car works well

Upon first use I found that there is no low voltage cutoff on this ESC or it's way below what it should be. Once I noticed my car slowing down I decided to test the battery voltage and saw that it was down to 6.9V (which is way lower than safe minimum for a 2S lipo) and the ESC was still operating normally. This ESC will ruin your lipo batteries, do not buy it!
