Bought this to setup a virtual firewall on my home lab. Get plenty of throughput for my small network. No down time or packet loss. Small enough it fit below my graphics cards. Works with OpenSense pfSense as virtual machines with dedicated hardware.

Very easy to install, I like that it came with both STD and low profile face plates. Worked just like a NIC should.

NO VLAN 802.1q Windows 10The card is plug and play Windows 10 Pro x64 (10.0.19042 Build 19042)That's what everyone wants to know right?Update:Ended up returning this card for no 802.1q support on Windows 10. Picked up a set of HP 361T cards with the Intel I350-T2 chipset which are fully supported for Teaming and VLANs on W10 using the Intel PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility / driver version 12.18.12.1 .I gave the C&N card a 4/5 stars because it did work plug and play windows 10 but did not support vlan qtag 802.1q. Intel has discontinued advanced driver support for the 82576 chipset so anything beyond basic IPv4/IPv6 is not possible with windows 10.

Originally was going to install on a desktop server running ESXi 7.0 U3, but drivers were unavailable for it so i had to downgrade by fresh install to 6.7 so it could work.Im just using this to have two NIC interfaces to install and config a pfSense appliance.

SR-IOV worked out of the box using Debian 11. Able to produce 4 VFs for each port - more maybe possible. A pleasant surprise.

Despite checking the chipset online, this card did not work out of the box with OPNsense firewall.

Saved the day! The lighting got the last Nic card and this one saved the day! SUPER AWESOME!

I was concerned about drivers but since the card is built on the Intel chipset Windows O/S saw it automatically, both ports work flawlessly.
