Works perfectly, great for storage for gaming.
Perfect for extra game storage for my PC, no issues setting up at all. Haven't noticed any louder noise than my previous hard drive either. Definitely worth it if it's on sale!

Affordable and great performance hardrive!
I have 3 ssd in my PC, I usually use my PC for work, and gaming. I wad running low in my storage since one of my 4tb ssd was getting full capacity. I decided to go for a sata hard ride, but I wasn't expecting this one to be so fast and being able to store 6tb of games. It's great, highly recommended!

Quick Easy Install
Grant it I've had 40+ years experience with computers, but this was a quick and simple install into my Dell Tower. Dropped easily into the quick release tray. I borrowed the SATA cable from the CDROM as the one I ordered had not arrived yet. I had to reroute some power cables, but I was up and running in 30 minutes, copying Lightroom photos from existing drive to the new drive. Windows 11 Disk Manager saw the drive immediately and made quick work of setting it up.

Files inaccessible after computer resumes from standby
This newly installed hard drive had an issue where files would become inaccessible after the computer resumed from standby/sleep. In order to access the files again, a shutdown/reboot was needed, then the drive was good until the next time the computer went into standby. I have installed a lot of hard drives over the years and never saw any of them do this, especially a new drive. I had to return it for a refund unfortunately. It was a great price and seemed to perform really well otherwise.

It works amazingly until it breaks from poor quality
I bought this in 2022, it arrived dead so i got a replacement. 6tb is amazing and i was really happy with the deal i got with it. I haven't had any issues until now in 2024. The power port thingy broke off into the cable, leaving the gold pins exposed. Thankfully the harddrive is still alive, but now I'm gonna have to pay someone to get my files off it.
