BurrisXtreme Tactical XTR II 4-20x50mm Precision Rifle Scope with 5X Zoom and Zero Click Stop Adjustment

This is my 2nd one to purchase. Clear glass great paralax adjustment and consistent out to 1000yds on my Savage 6.5 CM. This new one will go on a ruger precision rifle in 6.5cm to compete to 2500yds. Good value for the cost.

mounted this scope on a AR-15 and I love the way it fit with the long eye relief that it has. I don't think this would be a good fit for a regular rifle. I had to mount the scope so much more up the barrel the gun is off balance. I also purchased the 5x25x50 and I could not move the scope forward enough because of the eye relief. I think because of the magnification it needed

Adjustment are accurate, glass is very clear for the cost, a little on the heavy side for a hunting platform.

Bought this scope brand new, and the reticle would not illuminate.

In response to the 1 star review and the reticle not illuminating, I have heard a lot about this. It's a known issue with burris. I have the burris 201042 model xtr ii 4-20x50 and absolutely love it.For the money you won't find a scope even close to this ones clarity, turrets, eyebox forgiveness and zero stop.This scope simply beats everything under 2000$. I own 2 scopes over 2000$. This one isn't far behind them and at half the price. It comes with the burris forever warranty which is a shame to need for the illumination knob but at least it's covered. I haven't had that issue with mine.. Yet.
