Yes, this is a legit 72-tooth version.
As with others, the seller's ad is confusing. They're using the part # for the 72-tooth 3/8" ratchet (3725Z), but show photos of the earlier 36 tooth single-pawl mechanism. Upon receipt (earlier today) I used a T8 to remove the front plate, and it is in fact a 72 tooth version (with the 2-piece camming pawl, not the single piece shown in the pics from the older model). Very good deal off anywhere else online that I can tell at a hair over 2 Jackson's (yes, a bit higher than it was a few months ago, but still a good deal comparatively), although I can see where many might prefer the flex-head, a longer ratchet length, or may be waiting on the push-button release version to go on sale soon (at a hefty mark-up, though). I had a hole in my ratchet set that this fit perfectly and have no regrets.

Nice ratchet
I have 50-100 ratchets from different brands, so I need another one like a hole in the head. But I went ahead and bought this because why not. It compares favorably to my favorite ratchets. I definitely got the 72 tooth version. The back drag is light, which I feel is an undervalued ratchet property. It's not very long, and feels good in the hand. I put it in my machine shop toolbox and have been using it for a bit. But since I have multiple from which to choose, I have been typically grabbing my trusty SK ratchet because it is easier to keep the handle clean. So if you can only have one ratchet and that property is important to you, it is something to consider.

Very smooth
Been using this tool a couple weeks now and I'm favoring it over my significantly more expensive made in USA snap on and matco socket wrenches. Very smooth action. Feels nice in the hand. Not too heavy, yet not too light.

Smoooth
One of the best ratchets I've ever used, it's super smooth and there's hardly any backdrag so you're able to keep ratcheting when others will just spin back and forth. The only drawback for me is that the switch direction is opposite to what I'm accustomed to but I'll gladly accept that if it means I can get a higher quality tool.

Absolutely Beautiful
No back-drag, beautiful finish, absolutely a 72 tooth. This is the smoothest ratchet I’ve ever used, makes my Snap-Ons feel crunchy! Very small head, great for getting into tight places, fit and finish are top notch and well on par with ratchets that are 3 times the price. One thing to keep in mind is the reversing lever is reversed to what we’re used to here in the states, but that’s easy enough to work with.

Excellent quality
The media could not be loaded. This ratchet is made to a very high standard. Made in Japan, excellent quality, and not “for the price“. I would stack this up against any professional brand and it holds its own.
