Okay, so I lovingly refer to these PureWine Silver Wand Filters as wine tampons, but jokes aside, they’re absolutely amazing. I was skeptical at first, but after using one, I realized I could finally enjoy a glass (or let’s be real, a few glasses) of wine without the usual histamine hangover, congestion, or weird skin flare-ups. You just swirl it in your glass for a few minutes like you’re casting a spell, and boom, no headaches, no blotchy face, no regrets. Plus, they don’t mess with the taste at all. The only downside is trying to explain what they are when you're out with friends. ("No, it's not what you think. Yes, it saves my life.") I gave it 4 stars because it came open, and mangled up, and in the big scheme of things, that matters! No body wants to wonder if a product they just bought was returned or used by someone else... But, as to the product itself... I gave up wine some time ago because of the extreme allergic reaction I have to it. After 1 glass, I can't breath, I become so congested that its hardly worth the wine experience. I tried this last night, and was really thrilled with the result! No congestion, headache, or need for an Allegra! It does remove most of the histamine and makes wine enjoyable again.

This is maybe my third order I stopped drinking three years ago because of my sinuses and I couldn’t function after having a drink and now I can drink with this and I have no sinus problems at all. It’s wonderful.

These are a life saver! I have an autoimmune disease that makes me dehydrated. Up until recently I’d been able to drink wine with no issue. Then all of the sudden, sulfites became a problem. I couldn’t even have a 1/4 glass of wine (no matter the type) without getting a headache within the hour. These work! No headache. Not one! I was even able to drink champagne which I was never able to do because it always gave me a headache. It does not change the taste for me either. I wish they were less expensive but honestly? They work. I’ll pay whatever I have to.

They’re okay for a small glass of wine, but I still got a headache by my second glass. I bought two of them, so a little disappointed.

I have eczema flare ups after drinking wine so I thought these wands would help. Nope. I left the wand in glass of wine for longer than the recommended 3 minutes and these didn't work for me. I tried different wines and still no improvement. But these wands not only not helped my hands, but they also gave me headache and higher blood pressure. Normally, the first sip of wine would cause me to relax, a very lovely feeling of warmth and pleasantness. I never got any serious flush. This time I got red burning flush on my face and the redness lingered for long time. Not only I didn't feel any relaxation or warmth, besides the burning face I developed a headache. I had 2 glasses of wine only and the headache lingered until the next day. I tried again few days later different wine and again, flush, headache and this time I checked my blood pressure, and it was high. Wine normally lowers my blood pressure, sometimes very low so I can't have more than 2 glasses. Anyway, the following day my eczema flared up anyway. There is a possibility that histamines and sulfites do not cause problems for me. It could be acetaldehyde. I have more wands left so I will continue to try them and see. I am still giving 5 stars because the product may not be the problem here.

Dank dieser Zauberstäbe kann ich zumindest gelegentlich ein Glas Weißwein trinken, ohne Migräne. Leider sind sie recht teuer und nur für den einmaligen Gebrauch, daher wirklich nur für besondere Anlässe.

Sono intollerante all' istamina. Ho bevuto dopo anni un bicchiere di vino rosso (che ha tantissima istamina) usando questo articolo e prendendo un antistaminico naturale. Risultato? Nausea la sera. Considerando che ho preso anche l'antistaminico sono delusa. Ho messo 4 stelle perché comunque il bicchiere di vino l' ho bevuto senza grossi problemi ma speravo di averne zero. Riproverò con un bicchiere vino bianco e fermo (ha meno istamina) e aggiornerò la recensione. Aggiornamento: Ho provato con due bicchieri di vino bianco fermi insieme ad un antistaminico naturale, risultato? Zero problemi! Stra consiglio 🎉🎉

So far, so good. The past few months I’ve developed such a bad intolerance to wine (immediate headaches, stuffy nose, flushed cheeks, racing heart in bed hours later) and I’ve tried these over Christmas period and they really helped. Tried in glass of red and changed the taste of the wine for the better (husband agreed) and tried in glass of fizz where it seemed to make it flatter but taste just as good. None of my usual symptoms. Just wish they weren’t single use (esp as I try to avoid single use plastic where possible) and slightly cheaper.
