Stop paying 3rd party
Still learning, its not that hard, if you have shopify store, support won't help , you would need a programmer, developer and coder. if you learn from books like this, then you will be more satisfied. the powered by shopify hint is you have to go to edit code, and find it or default and then type the word in and then space bar to erase. thats the only hint I will give. if you understand then you set from the rest of ecommerce.

Shopify Liquid - everything you need to know is here!
I've been working with Shopify for the past 6 years and I heavily relied on the Shopify Academy for the supporting documentation, different forums, youtube channels, etc. Now, I have 1 source for everything I need to know and understand about Shopify. I loved the explanations and quizzes at the end of each chapter that help you solidify what you've read about previously and to think about it a bit more.I got the kindle version and it's great! I can't wait for my paperback to be delivered as well.I'd highly recommend the book for everyone who wants to round up sources on Shopify in one place.

Good author but content obsolete
Good author but content obsolete. The Dawn template for example is not available in the Shopify store any longer and the template file structure organization and file types got changed.

THE resource for learning Liquid
With all the hype around Shopify Hydrogen, Oxygen and all the newer tools for Shopify Developers, a lot of people are sleeping on the essentials: customizing your theme with Liquid.Apparently, Liquid has been around since 2006. This book is up-to-date: it does cover recent changes such as the metafields functionality being available natively inside the Shopify dashboard. (I think that only came out in 2021?)I picked up this book as I had a pathetic scheme to acquire some Shopify stores. I thought as a developer I might be able to improve on whatever the owner was doing. I had never touched anything related to Shopify code before. Now I wish I had started my coding journey with Liquid. Liquid is a VERY easy to learn sever-side templating language. Once you learn the simple concept of Objects, Tags, and Filters you can do a TON. Simple content objects give you massive power over the content of your page. The author even shows you how to build product accordions and hand-picked recommended products just with metafields. Also, some of the things you can do with liquid are mind boggling. I highly recommend the chapter on JSON-Type templates. But you can get surprisingly far without touching any advanced features. For example, chapter 7 will show you how to create separate static and dynamic sections. You can handle an enormous amount of control flow logic just through the use of control flow tags, which is soooooooooo dead simple. A really refreshing change after spending all day struggling with RxJS in modern Angular (ugh). The book even goes beyond just the front end. Chapter 8 is a deep dive on consuming the Shopify Ajax API -- which is a great way introduction to understanding how the backend of Shopify works. The API chapter by itself is worth the price of the book. Even if you use lose interest in Liquid --- The in-depth guide on how this API works is a great resource for any Shopify developer.I have to say, playing with Liquid was a lot more fun then most programming projects I pick up. If you have never coded before, but are involved with Shopify, I would recommend starting here.

Great content for learning Liquid and creating e-commerce sites.
Review of Shopify Theme customization with Liquid by Ivan Djordjevic-priya shastriIn this book, the author describes the dynamic ways of creating e-commerce websites like Shopify using Liquid’s features. In chapter 1 the author discusses the methods to start a shopify store. In chapter 2 the author describes Liquid. Liquid is an open source language invented by owner of Shopify Tobias Lutke. It is a great tool to make the static HTML pages dynamic. The various data types, logical operators and operations in Liquid are described in this chapter. In chapter 3 the author describes Diving into Liquid Core with tags, control tags, iteration tags, variable tags, theme tags and deprecated tags are described. This chapter has snippets of code that describe the various functionalities of the tags. In chapter 4 Diving into Liquid core with objects is described. In chapter 7 static versus dynamic sections of code are described. This chapter has lots of snippets of code that can be re-used in your site if you plan to use Liquid. Chapter 8 describes the shopify AJAX API. The author describes how the add.js works and navigates the items to the cart. The best part of the book is the question and answer section after each chpater in this book. By answering the questions to each chapter you get a complete gist of each chapter,.I would strongly recommend this book for Liquid users!Great content.

Concise and practical Liquid development guide
I really like the book, especially because it is to the point and contains a lot of practical workshops that can be easily followed and applied. The focus is on hands-on application of the knowledge with as much conceptual/theory information as required. All materials for the workshops are provided either within the book or as files on a GitHub repository, so that they can be easily accessed. The workshops are (mostly) self-contained, so you don't need to execute them in sequence. Literally all required steps are (briefly) covered at the respective process steps as required (e.g. explaining how to add a new template using the Shopify GUI during specific Liquid customization activities).Topics are covered with sufficient breadth and depth to get a good overview and understanding without covering too much detail. Even as a Shopify/Liquid starter I had no issues understanding the core concepts and I could quickly apply and extend the provided information and materials. The extensive field experience of the author really shines through. He covers a lot of relevant topics and activities and guides very well through the application steps, while also providing good practices and potential pitfalls. There are explicit references in the book pointing to previous chapters, so that you don't have to search for content or additional information that had been already provided. I really appreciate that, especially because I have only rarely seen that with other books. There are also links included to additional Shopify reference documentation as required (at the appropriate places).Using the Kindle version of the book provides some additional advantages, i.e. directly leveraging/clicking the links provided and performing copy/paste of code examples (be aware of Kindle restrictions regarding the amount of text that can be copied per each book).IMO this is an excellent book to get a head start for Shopify theme customization and Liquid usage, and I also assume that experienced developers still benefit from the content.
