Pre amps on this are very decent for the price
After having all sorts of problems with my previous interface (Antelope Audio are awful!) I got this and have been recording at 96k and I’m loving the results!Yet to delve into the routing or ADAT but if you like things simple and uncomplicated this is a great option.

Great
Works flawlessly even through a USB hub. Its not recommended to use this way, but it works great here. I upgraded from the scarlett 18i20, same us hub and software. swapped out with virtually no downtime.

Great audio gear oozing quality...but issues
Great audio interfance looking so posh on my setup, I love it. However, I had issues with audio signal dropping out intermitently on my Windows 11 PC so I tried any optimisations recommended by Focusrite support with no succes. Finally I had sorted that by removing all Focusrite software from my PC and reinstalling it again. Also bought an internal 120mm cooler fan Noctua to use it externally with a 12V adaptor and mains to cool further my mini PC desktop. One of these two or both did the trick. No more issues with audio.

Great interface, issues with software
I bought this then eventually had to return it, I had major issues with audio dropouts, and having the restart the interface every few minutes. All the issues I had seem to be software related so not everyone may have this problem. Regarding the actual sound quality, it's very nice, the preamps sound fantastic, and the headphone output is fairly good as well, the finish and build quality was also very nice, however it was not usable with my issues

Focusrite not interested in fixing issues
I have the previous version of this. The MIDI input crashes and needs a power-down reset to get working again, if it receives MIDI data whilst the control panel is open.I reported this several months ago and whenever I ask the status I get told that it’s simply not a priority to fix.It is very disappointing after spending a lot of money on a premium product, to get such a response when reporting that a major feature is broken.

Great sound but....
All round great quality sound.Had issues with pops and crackle and couldn't figure out what it was.Had issues recently with audio lagging.Thought it was software issues but tried everything.Decided to swap the Usb lead and immediately noticed a quality improvement and no more lagging. They are basically selling a great sound card with a cheap ass lead.Would recommend you change it immediately should you buy one.

Superb sound and build quality - controls are little complex
Very high quality build and sound. Very flexible input and output configuration. I think to get the best from it you do need to know what you are doing. As I'm a novice I find it it's a bit complicated if I want more than the basic 4 input 2 output setup, the Focusrite software isn't the most intuitive, especially setting up custom mixes, there are some other little control nuances too like the dual headphone setup - I just find it a bit messy to get it right. But for our little jamming group it has more than enough and for simple recording via GB its very easy to use too. I'd definitely recommend it and would have given 5 stars bar for the messy controls, and as I said if you really know what you are doing you probably won't suffer. I upgraded from a Scarlett 414i which was also very good but this is a lot better than that interface for sure.
